I have a Gengar with the mega stone thing on it and it's over level 50 but won't mega evolve. What should I do?

You need to have it actually hold the item, "Mega Stone."

Mega stones are quite rare and can be reliably recieved from the Gem Cauldron Crafting, or they can sometimes be found in Mystery Boxes, The Treasure Hunt, Trades from Leah, or other users. ^^

Edit: I forgot to say, There is no "Gengarite" i.e. there are no pokemon-specific mega stones, there is only the generic item that can be used on any pokemon with the mega ability.
