While getting an egg from Rowan’s lab, the Ditto at the top right part was shiny. Does this mean my egg was shiny, or is this just a rare occurrence that doesn’t mean anything?

Hey, I’m new to this whole thing, but it looks like a lot of fun.

The Ditto will randomly turn to the Shiny one. If you click it, sometimes you'll get a "Hihihi" message which can reward you with a Shiny Ditto Plushie, though not always.
