I feel like making Moomoo Milk costs more money than it's worth. I've done some math, let me know if it's flawed. I've currently got 2 Miltanks in my barn, and I fed them 50 berries, getting 10 milks in return.

5 berries=1 milk. So for the milk to yield a profit, I must be able to sell it for over 5x what a berry is worth. 5 berries costs 200 dollars, 40 apiece. So one milk is worth at least 201 dollars. Though at the Berry Market, the maximum price is 125 for Moomoo Milk. Cooking it into a Shake doesn't help much either, with a max price of around 410.

Though let's say the berries were on sale for 35 each, making a milk worth 175, still losing money.

In short, the berries are more expensive than a milk is worth, making it a scam. My suggestion? Have 3 berries make one milk. That way, we'd be making a profit off of the ranch; selling milk worth 120 with the max of 125. What do you think?

I just want to add that you wouldn't have to buy berries from shop to make milk, because you can obtain a lot of berries through the use of Golden Slot, thus essentially costing no PD if you want to spend the time interacting and spinning slots which in any case will net you a lot more profit.

I don't think anything needs to be changed, however you aren't wrong with it not being profitable with such scenario you're presenting. Honestly, I'd only ever buy berries if you'd want to sink a bunch of PD into berries for the Medal Rally to compete for berry medals if you fancy those, but that's just my opinion.

JosieThePanda, I suppose that would be fair? 200 milk would cost about 10,000 dollars, and dragon gems are rare... though in terms of trading for items, that's subjective on what the values are.

Well i would agree on a higher max-price in the berry-shop, since the price there is way too low compared to what milk sells for (according to price-check even 800-1500 pd each!)

since the price varies depending on the market 500pd as a max price would be better in my opinion

An update for my farm: I have 4 Miltanks now, which is the maximum. They each make 1 milk from 5 berries, so I've got double the milk income from before.

The milk's now worth roughly 100, which means making it into a shake can make a nice profit; 3 milks worth 300 into 410; a 110 profit. Guess I'll start using the farm more, but anyone else is free to discuss whether this is a good enough maximum profit from the Miltank.
