During the last event (Eternal Flower) I was able to collect and hatch three eggs. I placed an everstone on one Flabébé immediately after it hatched so it would not evolve into Floette, and even though I know that the Floette to Florges needs a stone, I placed an everstone on it as well. The problem is, when I checked my Dex yesterday for the Vivillon (Pride), I found out that my Flabébé evolved into Floette with the everstone attached. Below are the links to both in question.

first hatched, given everstone to remain as Flabébé
second hatched, evolved to Floette
third hatched, evolved into Florges

Did you check your pokédex before letting the second Flabébé evolve?
Maybe it evolved (and got everstoned) first, but you thought you gave it the stone as a Flabébé?

Yes, I did. That is why I am surprised that I now have 2 Floettes and no Flabébé. Considering I placed the everstone on one at about level 3-5 and the other one at level 21, the evolution should not have happened since Flabébé needs to be at level 19 to evolve. I also looked when evolving into Florges (which showed I had 1 Flabébé and 2 Floettes before evolution and one of each after).
