(The is the rp thread. Also, extra info, all the students live in individual dorms on the second floor of the student building. First floor is the kitchen, living room and recreational crap)

Lunar looked down in horror at Opals dead body below her. "O-Opal? Are you just asleep?" Lunar asked. There was no blood. Lunar put two of her fingers to Opals neck. No pulse. Lunar gasped and ran out of the room.

“‘M gonna beat ‘cha! I’m gonna beat ‘cha!” Alex shouted over his shoulder, sprinting down the hallway with a wicked grin spreading across his features.

“Alex! Wait!” Gasping, April halted and doubled over, holding up one hand to call for a timeout. “Wait, you’re fast! Give.. Give me a.. a second,”

Alex skidded to a halt and doubled back, resting one hand on he redhead’s back. “You okay?”

Waving off his concern April nodded, brushing her hair behind her ears. “Yeah. Thanks.”

Lunar ran to the hallway and saw Alex and April running through the hallway. Lunar backed away and continued pacing in a panic.

Dahlia groaned and looked outside of her dorm room door and looked at Alex and April. "Can you two shut up?" Dahlia asked. She must be in a bad mood.

“Sorry,” April apologized hoenstly, green eyes turning to look at Dahlia.

“Not sorry,” Alex grinned under his breath, standing and brushing himself off. “C’mon, lets get outta here. She’s bein’ a real jerk today.” He complained, throwing a look over his shoulder at Dahlia.

April sighed and stood as well, brushing her hair back. “I really am sorry. I d— What was—?” She blinked, whipping her head around to watch Lunar. “Hey.. Are you okay?” She asked quietly.

"No! I am not okay! None of us are! O-Opal.." Lunar said, in a panic. Dahlias eyes widened and she left her dorm and raced over to Lunar.
"What happened?" Dahlia asked Lunar.
"W-What happened? I w-wish I could tell you the answer, but I don't know! All I know is that I found Opal dead!" Lunar stammered

“Opal’s dead?” April’s eyes widened as she scurried to join the other two girls. “Where is she? Are you sure she’s dead?”

Alex’s eyes had widened, though he refrained from speaking whatever was on his mind. In this case, it was probably for the best that he didn’t anyway.

“Shut up, Hawthorne.” Alex’s response was immediate, no thought required. “She’s already explained, like, three times.”

“.. Can you show us which dorm is hers?” April asked quietly, hesitantly reaching out to touch Lunar’s arm, giving the other girl plenty of time to pull away if she didn’t want to be touched.

Lunar pulled away, as she wasn't a fan of physical contact. "Follow me.."
Ivy glared bitterly at Night as they went to Opals dorm. Night looked at the scene, seemingly shocked but mostly unfazed. Opal, collapsed dead by a table with two tea cups. One empty, one half full.

“Thank you,” April said quietly, honestly as she slipped into the room. “.. Oh, gosh. Opal..” She sighed and crouched down, though she didn’t make a move to touch the body. It was mostly out of fear Opal would jerk back to life and rip her arm off, but also because she didn’t want to disrespect the dead. “.. Ivy? What do you..” She gestured widely to the room at large.

Alex, who was not Night’s biggest fan, stuck close to April’s side as she crouched by Opal’s body, though he kept his glares to himself.

"...I say that we figure out the cause of death. I need to get security camera footage." Ivy muttered. Her tone has gone ice cold, as she glared at Night. "Even if I have my suspicions, there's still a thing called a jury that we must convince." Ivy said.
Lunar sighed. "Ivy, I'm not going to stop you, but isn't this the police's job?"
"Supposed to be. They seem to be reluctant to investigate cases that take place in this school." Ivy said.

“The police nevah show up here,” Alex waved his hand dismissively. His second year here, and that was something he was all too aware of. “Probably ‘fraid of what we can do or somethin’.”

“Do you want help?” April offered, standing and brushing herself off. “.. I can’t do much, but I can still try and help if you want.”

"Get security camera footage. We need to get this body out of here. I hate to ask you of all people, but Night can you lift it with psychic and follow me down to the lab?" Ivy asked. Night sighed and his eyes glowed blue and he lifted opal and followed Ivy down to the crime lab.
"...I hope that she doesn't work herself to death again.." Lunar sighed, walking out. "I called the school board, school is canceled until they get to the bottom of this and the killer is caught." Lunar said
"Should we let the others know?" Dahlia asked Lunar.
"I don't know. Ask Ivy that." Lunar sighed. She walked out and back to her own dorm, probably to contemplate what to do.

Huffing, Alex offered April his hand, which she accepted and hauled herself to her feet, brushing her knees off again. “See? Now we’ve been dragged into some stupid group activity or somethin’,” He complained.

April rolled her eyes, patting his shoulder with mock-sympathy before marching down the hallway towards the camera room. Mostly praying there would be taped evidence of something going down. “Uh-huh.”

“Don’t uh-huh me.”

“Mhm.”

What April and Alex found would be of no help. The computers were off, hard drives removed from them all.
Lunar sighed, pacing her room. “What are we going to do now? Can I channel her spirit and get answers?” Lunar asked
