so hm i don't know if this is only me, but sometimes when i click 'open' next to the mystery boxes, it says 'you don't have [insert box name]!'
and i don't get the items [i think?].

It might be a case the system is registering a double click / Refresh which uses up more than 1 item which is like the bulletian board bug.

Aside from being annoying, you aren't actually missing out on the items. You'll just have to look through your Item Bag to try and figure out what you got (:
As Berries are also a possibility, it might not be clear/obvious, though you did get them, if that was your prize.
