I got one of those underwater cave maps. The wiki said the give it to a water type and send it on a rumble mission. I have it to my tentacruel and we d it to the bright beach. Will there be any kind of indication that I'm doing it right? There's nothing helping me

With the map you actually unlock a new Rumble Area called Marine Cave that's a separate exploration; so giving the map to them and sending them to Bright Beach won't do anything, unfortunately.

You have to send a pretty strong Pokemon there though because the Boss [Kyogre] could easily defeat them. It used to be Level 100 was pretty secure [and, anyone, correct me if I'm wrong] but now I would say it's safer to send a Pokemon Level 200+ to the area.

I guess by sending it out via rumble, you're 'giving' it a map and letting it find the place? ^^ All you need to do is select the new area that should now appear when you select where to go for your rumbler.

Ohhh ok. I understand now. I was expecting to need to use the map somehow.

Level 100+ used to be safe, but you lost your map if/when you lost.
Now that the pokémon returns with the map, if they get defeated, the level needed to defeat the legendary was increased a bit.
