idk if its been suggested before, and im too lazy to check it.

we know that in pokemon games, the player can use his bicycle to move faster. but due to the gameplay of pokeheroes, bicycling most probably is not possible.
however, we know that emera square, every month there are two events happening- the bug hatching contest and the pokemon beauty contest. why not add a third event to put bicycling into good use?
i think that it would be better if there is a third event (mini-game) maybe called "bicycling contest". the gameplay is similar to temple run or subway surfer (or combination) wherein the player needs to run his bicycling while avoiding obstacles (maybe other npc riding bicycle, rocks, logs, or maybe even wild pokemon). as the player progresses, the speed of the bicycle increases and becoming more difficult. the further the player rides, the higher its points. at the end of the contest, the top pokeheroes users with the most points will be awarded.

itemfinder
idk, but i think we are not using itemfinder here in pokeheroes.
while cycling, the players who have itemfinder (bought in itemshop) have the chance to pick items scattered in the road. probably a maximum of 3-5 items. because of this, those players who already got a high score in bicycling contest are still motivated to play the mini-game again.
however, in every use of the itemfinder, the player must recharge it. probably with 500-1,000 PD. however, they can still play the mini-game even without recharging the itemfinder but they wont be able to pick any items. the player can also choose whether he will turn the itemfinder on or off just like the pokeradar.

other advantage
by adding a third event, the players are able to gain more festival points. this is because getting shiny meleotta is difficult. but because of the third event, it will be more easier.

opposing questions
wont this make the time-span of emera square festivals short?
answer: no, it will not. the time span in every festivals is 15 days. however if we think, 15 days for a certain event is pretty long. however with the addition of cycling contest, it will be reduced to 10 days. then it will be pretty short. this will make an entire week for the festival, while the remaining 3 days as resting period which makes things better.

note
however it doesnt necessary need to be placed in emera square.

i'am always open to new games or contests. I like the idea of bicycling since it was fun in the games, too and the way you explained it sounds like a good idea to me. i'am giving my support for this, also more raceways with other rewards could be added in the future, so it would give an extendable site feature, which is great in my opinion.

Oh yes, a temple run like game in Emera square. That would be awesome, but I don't know how Riako will code it? That's really the only downside.

People often think the PH sprites are bland. Do they shade? Well, yes they do. You'll be surprised how much care is taken for these sprites.

yep... sadly thats true... :(.. but it maybe solved by using simpler graphics and gameplay...just like what he did to the recent ducklett party...

Fully agree, I think maybe it could be a permanent game though - just so you can always play it.

Maybe the item finder could work like this:
Common items (Easiest to find)
-Common gems
-Evo stones
-Cooking items (e.g honey, moomoo milk)

Rare items-
-Fossils
-Relics (Copper, silver, gold etc..)
-Mystery boxes and keys

Super rare items (rarest)
-Maps
-Mega stones

[These should be really rare as otherwise they would be too easy to find

tnx.. ^^
yeh, i can agree to some point of the items that uve listed but except for the mega stone and map part....since they are designed to be only found exclusively on locations wherein they are currently being located...

I think Mega-Stones and Maps would be somewhat OP all things considered, but it'd be nice to get a unique legendary, similar to how Volcanion is found from fishing mechanics.

Also as no one has said it, I will. Do NOT blatantly break the rules and be rude by saying you are too lazy to do what is required of you. That's a horrible way to get your idea even slightly considered.

This has been a PSA.

@aurora- u may misinterpret it, but the word "too lazy" is an allegory that i dont want to search the entire forum only to see if it has been suggested or not....
u know what is being more horrible? it is when someone automatically judge something as a spam over a single little word that he hates to hear?

on second note, yeh, ur right, getting a super rare item that can be collected to get a legendary pokemon (just like the bottled message in the beach) is an awesome idea...
