I'm planning on starting a shiny hunt soon, but what are some of the best ways to get the same type of egg over and over?
I'd appreciate any help :D

DayCare would be the best way to get a steady supply of the eggs you need. However, do keep in mind that it's still random, so some days you might get more than other days.

Tall Grass would be my second pick, because it's allowing you to search eggs that others have released. Depending on the pokémon, there might not be any eggs in the Tall Grass, but if you're hunting a pokémon that has an event counterpart, there'll probably be more eggs than you'll ever need.

Gem Collector would be my third [and last] pick. In exchange for Gems, you'll be able to 'buy' pokémon eggs. Pretty handy if you're running low on DayCare and/or Tall Grass eggs, but I, personally, see it as a last resort.
