Cries of angry seagulls could be heard in the distance, and the smell of the salty ocean water infiltrated Sashi's nose. Waves kept lapping at his outstretched hand as the hot sun scorched him. His eyes flew wide open, and he quickly got up.
Where am I? he wondered.
Looking around to see other bodies lying around.
looks like I'm not the only one...
Sashi suddenly smacked his forehead. He had an intense headache, and searched his brain for the reason why. But all he found... was nothing...
Sashi panicking, searched through his brain only to find one memory.... one voice...
Aktsuki Hiterashi! Come back! Sashi Don't leave I...
Nothing... he had nothing else... all he had was female voice, telling him to come back... and come nack he would... at least... he would try...

Grace moaned and opened her eyes. 'Wait, what....' she mumbled. Rubbing her eyes, she glanced around. All around her, bodies were scattered. She couldn't tell if they were alive or not. One boy was standing up. She felt an odd mixture of complete calm, terror and shock.

Sashi quickly assessed the situation. He had.... nothing.... no, he had a knife. One person seemed to have woken up, and other than that, there seemed to be a chain of islands around them, and jungle behind where they were situated. So... ma6be a wayer source, most likely food, and they had enough warmth. He could probably survive on ehis own, but he could not leave these people behind. He walked up to the person who seemed awake, "hello, I think my name is Aktsuki Hiterashi, but I think people called me Sashi. Who are you, and do you know anything about, this?" he asked, gesturing toward the jungle and the chain of islands.

Grace moaned again and looked up. Oh... the boy was speaking to her... 'Nope... Hi, I'm Grace Agida.' She blushed a little and struggled to her feet. She suddenly realised she was clutching a toy truck in one hand. She frowned and tried to remember why she had it. Nothing. She tried to remember anything. A boy's laugh. She blinked. The strange panicky calm feeling resurfaced.

"Ok, well, doesn't look like anyone else is here other than well, the other people, well everyone, let's get along, let's survice, and let's get out of here" Sashi said, taking out his knife, he walked over to a tree, and snapped off a decently sized branch. He proceeded to start to sharpen one end into a sharp point, like a spear, with his knife.

Grace blinked again and glanced at the boy. Upon seeing him closer up, she realised he was actually a man, around 20. She checked her pockets. A Swiss army knife. 'Well, that was lucky.' she thought. 'I'm going to see if I can find some water or food.' she called out to the others. 'Wow, he seems to know what he's doing...' she thought as she headed towards the jungle.

Sashi looked up and said to the two, "if ypu find any berries or any animals, don't try to eat the berries, until we've all triple checked it, and don't approach the animal, we don't know what varient it might be, or what kind of danger it might pose. And we can't save anyone, so don't break a bone, or get poisoned. We won't be able to save you...."

Grace nodded uncertainly. 'Umm... I'll... do my best?' Quickly she grabbed a handful of bright red, green and yellow leaves from a bush to leave a trail where she had gone so she wouldn't get lost and hoped they weren't poisonous. Warily, she headed into the jungle.

Sashi went after her, "might not wanna go alone anywhere," he said, holding up his spear. "you'll need weapons, and also, never go anywhere without some sort of protection, or someone else watching your back" he handed her the spear, "I'll make another one for myself while we're walking, let's go find stuff"

'Oh ok, thank you...' Taking the spear, she looked away a little nervously. As they headed into the forest, she kept an eye out for anything that could be edible.

Grace notices a bush full of large purple berries. She carefully inspects the plant. The leaves were spikey, which meant it was warding birds and insects away... So surely humans could eat them? 'Sashi, I found something!' she called her companion.

Sashi walked over to Grace, sharpening another stick. "What is that?" Sashi asked Grace, "I don't think I've ever seen anything like that before... I don't know if we should eat it... I've read somewhere that you shouldn't eat any berries or plants unless your 100% sure they're safe... All though, there are signs that'll indicate if a berry is safe to eat... I just don't remember them at the moment... Then again, I don't really remember a lot, just bits and pieces..."

'Same... I do remember something about if the berry's juice is any colour but clear, then you shouldn't eat it, so...' Grace squeezed the berry. Streams of dark purple spilled out. 'Yikes... Let's leave that one.' Grace dropped the berry and wiped her arm off with a leaf.
