I'm sure questions get asked repeatedly, so is there any way to search the forums for previous posts? If not, that would be pretty handy....

Also I'm trying to figure out how to put stuff up on the global trade station?

On the bottom right of your browser screen [not the page], there schould be a magnifying glass - that's the search function (:
