I think it would be a good idea to have a forum section for people who want to make new friends, because I have had to find friends in the Who's Online section. I think that the new section could be a place where people could find someone who is similar to them.

If you mean Real friends, that's not possible through only Internet.

What about the "Fanclubs" section?
You'd have at least one thing in common with the users of the club you join ^^

I mean you can't really decide what does or doesn't make someone a "real" friend but all right.
Anyways, I'd agree with CatLady and just join some Fanclubs and become friends with people who like things you like. If a club for something you like doesn't exist, just create one and maybe other people on site will like it.
