When you search for eggs in the tall grass, you have to scroll down a list of pokemon in order to find the one you're looking for. I think this is an unecessarily hard way to do this, because you have to search for a while if you don't know the dexnumber of the pokemon.



Suggestion:
Make it possible to search for a pokemon by typing in its name, as well as being able to scroll down the list (like you can when buying eggs from the gem collector).

I guess you want to say that in the drop down list if we just type the initial characters of the pokemon, the list will refresh to show you only those pkmn whose characters you typed.

Yes, it is a good idea, but for many people unnessesary because they must look up the names of the pokemon. And when i look up for the name i have the number.

Then i have not time saved.

I dont think this is unnessecary. Yes some people must look up the name of the pokemon, but most people here already know the name. So it would save them time to just use that name to find the pokemon instead of having to find the number and scroll down a long list to find that.

I tend to look at the pokemon I'm about to start hunting, so pick up the dex number then.

While this could make it easier for some, it would honestly get in my way on mobile. Autosuggest does weird things with pokemon names, and I don't always catch it. (Oricorio sensu became Oreo Senpai)

I actually support this. I have a hard time finding some pokemon by their dex number, and when breeding a pokemon, I don't want to have to memorize every single dex number; especially since sometimes I switch my hunts multiple times in a week. I think an easier way to do the list though would be to sort it alphabetically. Or have a second drop down that's alphabetical like they have on the pokedex pages of Serebii. I think a search box would be less helpful since a lot of people don't know the correct spelling for all 800+ pokemon
