I've read the other pages about it, and they don't seem to answer my question. When will my Pokemon megaevolve? Someone said it was level 50, but it didn't evolve (it does have the stone).

In order for your pokemon to mega evolve it need's to be holding a Mega stone then leveling it up to 50 +

What your Medicham has is the power to Mega evolve (the little bubble that is showing), though it doesn't work like in the games.

To further illustrate this

is a Mega Stone and what you should give it to hold, for the

Mega Power to result in mega evolution.

You can get a Mega Stone from the Gem Cauldron [final recipe to unlock] and from the Treasure Hunt.
You can also try trading with other users.
