I think that if an Account is Permanently Frozen, any trades they have set up in the GTS should be automatically canceled.

This will help clear up the GTS a little since with the account frozen the user cannot cancel the trade or accept/reject any offers. This means that if you want to bid on something that has been there for a while, you have to go to the users profile page to see if they are still active or if the account is frozen.

There is always a chance the trade is just old, but you still need to check or you'll have one of your pokemon 'locked' since it's being offered for a trade that can never be accepted since the one who made the trade is frozen out of their account.

I support this, I've offered on quite a few trades created by locked users, and it's really irritating waiting for them to accept your trade, until you check their profile after a few weeks and you realize they've been permanently frozen.

Support, there's no real reason for these trades to stay, as they just end up having pokemon stuck in the GTS

I support this and would even take the suggestion a step further to automatically remove trades older than 6 months.

I support and definitely agree. Taking off the trades after a certain amount of months would be awesome too!

Trades are now automatically cancelled after two months, this should implicitly also take care of the problem described in this suggestion.
