what's the rowan quest for? and how do I get a rowan quest?

Basically all the Rowan Quests are is doing quests for Professor Rowan. If you finish each quest, I (believe?) you receive a Golden Pokeball.

As quoted from a recent news post:
"Simply visit his Lab from time to time after reaching Trainerlevel 18"

I feel like I missed a few things though, I'm not a big quest doer. Someone else can give you the full run down on what happens.

EDIT:
Yeah, after finishing a quest you receive a Gold Pokeball.
As I said I'm not a quest doer.. I only have one xD
