So these two (master balls and retro celebi) I completely have no clue what to do to get them? Master balls I have never seen in the item shop, and I don't even know if they even exist or if they were just put there for fun.

For Retro Celebi I really don't know either, was it released to the public or something and there is a hint. Because it felt like it was just randomly released? Though I have seen people that do have retro celebi and it says they got it from rumbling from obtained, but what do you do? Is it like sending a regular celebi on a secret rumble mission or something?

Master Balls aren't in the game and we don't know if they will ever be added.

There was recently an Events called Berry Battle (and it started exactly the day you joined if I remember correctly) and it consisted of two parts. The second part was a daily "ranklist" where the users were ranked according to however many Hoenn Tonics you made. Everyday, the top 50 got an upgrade for Route 102 (which was given to anyone who completed part one) if it was their first time getting a reward and a Pokeball or Fancy Vivillon if it wasn't their first time. Usually, in Route 102 the only Retros you can find are Poochyena, Zigzagoon and Taillow but the upgrade allowRetro Celebi Eggs to be obtained too, although they are quite rare.

So I have to rely on others till next year? Also if you can, how does the retro eggs in route 102 work. I have only found regular pokemon that joined, but are the retro pokemon just their eggs so it's kind of secretive?
