Now Riako's post about Activity On Pokeheroes got me thinking.. Especially this quote, " One user who plays for a year or more is much more valuable to our community than a hundred users that leave right after starting the tutorial."

Now two things before I start:
1.) Please, no heated debates - it's only a suggestion.
2.) I completely understand that this site does need funding.

With number 2 being said, yes I completely understand the site needs to be funded somehow or else we wouldn't have Pokeheroes to begin with however, I think paying $30 (on the low end) to $80 (on the high end) is extremely (honestly I want to say outrageous, but we will go with..) expensive. Considering most users are underage and honestly have to ask parents to get money to spend on this game. Not to mention for us older users who have bills to pay. We all want to be able to hunt events without spending upwards of months at a time just to get one shiny - and if we want a mega-able well unless you're extremely lucky without that pass you can forget it. Hunting events without an event pass is extremely frustrating. And paying for an event pass is just too much for most of us. I think maybe it could be:

1.) Lower the prices a bit?
2.) Maybe make it the huge advent prize?
3.) When you do deals like the Summer Deal we just had make ones especially for event passes, not just an event pass for a certain Pokemon?
4.) Make event points easier to earn other than Mystery Boxes? (Possibly Rumbles, have a Pokemon bring back 1 or 2 every so often..)
5.) Maybe have a yearly event to earn a larger amount of Event Points?
6.) Give away an event pass for being a member on PH each full year?

There all a billion ways it can be done. I have a handful of event hunts I want to do and I dread them because I cannot afford to be paying $60 a pop to get sufficient eggs in order to get the hunt done without stressing because I've already spent 360 nuggets for flutes and my daycare is empty. It's a waste of money. :/

So just a thought.

support to a point. I agree that it can be expensive for premium, but to be fair the features are worth it. For the more active players, it can be easy to get nuggets from players who buy them. Whether you use the royal tunnel for gems, get lucky in boxes, make art, or just interact forever, you can get nuggets. With event hunting I don't support mostly because events are special. A shiny event would lose its value if there were say 1000 or more on the site. I believe that if you truly want to shiny hunt an event without paying up the wazoo for it you should plan on spending nuggets on those.

For me to get a event pass bought by nuggets its like upwards of $200. with the conversion rates. So other ways to earn event points to get event passes would be great. Cause, as it stands for me to do the event hunts via pass bought with nuggets for the ones I do not have it would be over $1000. To buy 1 yr premium its like $180.-200. depending where the conversion rates are sitting.

100% Support. I am underage, and I say more, I am from Russia. 1$ to our money is around ~65 roubles = 80x65 = 5200 roubles. Big number, eh?

I support. Not having Premium is a huge disadvantage and although I did buy an event pass, I soon regretted paying real money for pixels (cute pixels that I adore but still).

Soooo much support here. I have to pay $80 for a year of premium, which I was torn over, but enjoy.
I had to pay $40 for a ditto.

I had to pay $200 for my shiny polestar.

I've paid a ton for things on this site and still sit somewhere between 60K PD and 1mil (on a verrryy good day).

I've help multiple lottos and give away pretty good items just to try and raise funds. Things seem seriously skewed pd to nugget wise.

Flutes if you buy the package, are $4 a month, that itself is $48 a year on the off chance you get an egg or two more a day (some people see little to no bonus from these).

My amounts are in USD, but it makes the point well enough.

Support, honestly I just hope they make it a little easier for newbies like me. It's been one month and I have only saved up 112 event points somehow, I think I used nuggets since they are almost impossible to get for me. I really do love the event pokemon, and it's really sad not being able to get them without waiting for next year or something. Though seriously it's for their funding, but if you have to pay 40$ just for a virtual ditto. It just doesn't seem worth it. Well they probably didn't want 12 years old like me in the first place on here because of that XD.

People often think the PH sprites are bland. Do they shade? Well, yes they do. You'll be surprised how much care is taken for these sprites.

I support [honestly I feel like PH is not for people who come from countries like korea or russia, because this is a pay to get anywhere game, and this one uses US dollars]

Support, Prices are quite high, maybe lower the prices and get funding through advertisements where users can watch ads to earn nuggets? A limited number of ads pre day and you don't have to watch them if you don't want, but it then gives us nuggets and gives the site some funding

Support! Im underage and have to pay for Dance fees (£24 a month) as well as having to save up for a new laptop, prepare to upgrade my phone (contract going up to £35 and pay upfront cost (my mum pays monthly but ill have to chip in) and supplies for studying/tuition - let alone the fact i have to prepare for college next year and i want to move out at at least 17

I had to work my butt off to get premium, but ik that a lot of people i brought nuggets from had spent a lot of money! (Most of them had 1000+ nuggets when i brought from them)

support, but i think premium should stay the same because you dont have to buy a full year and i think premium should still be a little special.
event hunts on the other hand are suuuuper expensive, i would say to either drop the price a little bit or get another way to get event points. not too much tho because then shiny events would loose their value.

Half support, the prices for event passes are quite high, but with the exception of the special events like Polestar you are not forced to use them.

To hunt a normal event like Winter Numel, you only need a breeding pair for the daycare, the payment (pd/electric gems/nuggets) for the radar and a lot of patience. Premium and flutes help a bit, yes, but these things are not necessary. You can play without them.

As for premium, you are also not forced to buy this with real money. You can always collect the free nuggets and save up or buy nuggets from other users. It just takes a bit time.

Ditto. Why paying $ 40 for a ditto? You can try to catch one in the lab, save up gems (also buyable from other users) or collect pd to buy one from other users. I can understand, that it is frustrating to not have one, but you can't expect, that a new user can get the complete pokedex in only a few weeks. I am now here for nearly three years, do I have a Ditto yet or the three legendary birds? No. But I can wait. There are always a few nice people, who are willing to lend missing pokemon for the dexes.

I mean ABSOLUTELY NO offense but this makes no sense to my point..

Quote from Wolfsdrache"To hunt a normal event like Winter Numel, you only need a breeding pair for the daycare, the payment (pd/electric gems/nuggets) for the radar and a lot of patience. Premium and flutes help a bit, yes, but these things are not necessary. You can play without them."

Yes, this is my point, of course you can hunt them without a pass, but it is extremely frustrating because you can sit there for days without an event egg. And if you *did* pay for flutes you wasted either your PDS or money out of your own pocket and it gets aggravating.

Quote from Wolfsdrache"As for premium, you are also not forced to buy this with real money. You can always collect the free nuggets and save up or buy nuggets from other users. It just takes a bit time."

Honestly I don't know where people are getting the fact that I'm asking the price for premium to be lowered or easier to get.. I'm simply trying to make EVENT POINTS easier to obtain, or make *those* cheaper. I never said anything about premium. Also it would take so long to 'save up' nuggets for anything considering prices are so high. And buying nuggets aren't always that easy and even then those are expensive as well. Considering 1 nugget is worth 1,500. But this has nothing to do with my suggestion anyway.

Quote from Wolfsdrache"Ditto. Why paying $ 40 for a ditto? You can try to catch one in the lab, save up gems (also buyable from other users) or collect pd to buy one from other users. Again, I have no idea why this comes into play. However I've been playing a little over a year and I have a nearly complete dex. How did I do that? I WORKED MY BUTT OFF FOR IT. If you want it, you have to work for it.

Just saying..

I only mentioned premium, because you need the premium membership to be able to use an Event Pass.

Edit:
I am also sorry for the misunderstanding. Next time I will use quotes, because my answer was more for those users who complained that all would be so expensive on this site.

More ways to get events points is a good idea.

Ah. Honestly, I've had premium so long I didn't know that you could not get an event pass without being premium. My apologies.

Total support. I really hope this suggestion is implemented somehow. It's depressing how difficult these things are to obtain through normal gameplay.
