Piani thought for a moment, ultimately deciding not to go back to her apartment. "...The business building. I can get into the basement."

She saw the look and gave a tiny, almost unnoticeable nod.

Altessia hopes Danny got the message too. She will keep an eye on Amara carefully. And stay sharp and aware of her surroundings.

Danny picked up on Altessia's look. He didn't nod, but he made it clear that he saw her in the most unnoticeable way possible. "Good idea." He said to Piani.

Altessia seems more emotionless now than she usually is. She is hiding them from Amara if her hunch is correct.

As they left, someone pushed through the crowd to watch them go. A man with a scruffy beard and bright blue eyes sighed and didn't go after them, though he was really supposed to. I was close to getting that girl. Just wait.

Piani entered the business building. She flashed the security guard a look. He nodded and let them aside. "Right down here," She sighed, going into a door. Steps led down to a dark basement, but as she turned on the lights, the room illuminated to reveal an open, clean space. Bean bags and bookshelves made the room feel homey.

"A little old-fashioned, but bean-bags are beyond comfortable. Seriously. I come down here for quiet," She yawned.

Danny followed Piani down the stairs. He looked at the room and smiled, but his smile faded when he saw the stranger's blood red eyes. He turned his gaze away and stood near the stairs.

Jaster snuck around in the building, and spotted the security guard. All right, he thought, here goes. using the handle of his blaster, he hit the guard's head, knocking him out.
