I want to move the pro-activeness of trading from the buyer to the seller.

As a seller I want to be able to see offers for what I want to sell.

This for example is what I'm thinking off. It would be a drop down bar where it would select items that they are willing ot trade for what i'm selling.

NOTE:- All pokemon trades will remain as is 1 Pokemon is needed for 1 Pokemon in return! THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE

Also - You could only select 1 pokemon to highlight / 1 item But in the description you can always give more of course. To highlight the most wanted thing you want from the trade.

It would almost mean that the regular GTS will still hold. Such as I could look for trades that Have PD in it.

So lets say someone puts up a trade of 150,000 PD And they are looking mainly for either a Volcano Map (Highlighted), Bug gems or Normal gems in their description.

You can still search for a offer of PD and see what they want in the descirption.

But as a Seller I can see what offers I can get for my map. So I would search 'Looking for Volcano Map' and see the 150,000 PD offer as well as ant others that have clicked the option 'Volcano map'

This is how I imagine setting up a trade would looking like

You do not always have to highlight something but it would be more useful to refine your searched.

I hope this made sense and I would love to see some honest ways to possible improve this idea!

From the premise, I'm imagining a sea of multiple "same" trades all "Looking For" different pokemon/items, according to what is ticked off in the box in the "Looking For" section.

From what I understand, you want to refine the search system according to what the GTS Offer-post is looking for, and then allow a GTS Offer-poster to only have what the GTS Offer-post available on their screen. -- And this in lieu of the current system where a person searches for the item(s)/Pokémon(s) that they want, and has what they want available to them, but not filtered according to what the GTS Offer-post wants.

If it sounds confusing, it's because I just woke up, and this is what I'm understanding of the proposal.

I like this idea, so for example when you have star pieces for sale, you can simply filter trades by it and get shown what people post looking for star pieces, so you can decide if you rather want that mew someone posted for star pieces or that amount of gems someone else posted without going through hundrets of trades, you just get these two filtered (that´s how I understand this suggestion, correct? )
