The other day, I got a game I adored. Still in debug, so I decided the Dev, YanDev, had enough on his hands, so I wouldn’t report any bugs, like getting the masks banned, quitting the Drama Club, and going home causing Ayano to follow Taro home forever to make sure he’s okay.
Today, I decided to try Mission Mode, with Nemesis-chan for an added challenge. Ayano’s uniform on the main menu was the fifth uniform, instead of the first, the default. I didn’t notice this.
I need to pay more attention.
“Welcome.” Info-chan said, the audio cutting out. Odd.
Starting a custom mission, the Nemesis-chan button had Missing. Deciding to go play the normal game, Info-Chan said “Good riddance” As I left the Mission Mode screen. Huh!? It was “Goodbye.”! I came and went many times.
“You’re back?” Was the greeting. Instead of goodbye, she said, “Thank god.”
“Again?” “Why are you like this!?”
And the most shocking, “Get out!” This was a base game quote when you got into Info-chan’s room through, not hacking, but a bug. I was thrown out of mission mode, and stuck in the main menu. When I tried going into the mission mode, I got this message:
“Nemesis-chan has escaped.
Info-chan has reason to believe she is in the main game.
Go.”
Going into the main game, there was a new opening.
“I couldn’t feel. Previously, I was emotionless. I was open to all ways of getting to him. Then he confronted me about it. ‘Thats a problem. Deal with your emotionlessness, please.” He said. I worked through it. We worked through it, together. On Friday, his childhood friend, Osana, was ill, so I confessed under the cherry tree. He told me ‘You do need emotional support, but either way, under the tree or not, I would have said yes.’ We’ve been a couple for 2½ months. Now someone is trying to take him from me.”
Ayano’s POV
I blinked awake, feeling upset, then shocked. Emotions!? Then I remembered, and smiled, then frowned.
“Info-chan?” I texted the girl.
“What. You got your senpai, what do you need now?” The rarely seen, redhead replied.
“Someone new’s after him.”
“All’s fair in love and war~”
“...”
“Fine, I’ll have Kokona tell you.”
“?”
“You forget. Kizana’s hair and voice are easy for me to replicate.”
“Perfect.”
I waited for Osana to call for me. It came, her voice annoying and annoyed.
“Ayano! Get ready! I swear you’re worse than Taro.”
I kept mixing up uniforms, not used to the new, black one. The Valintine’s day dance was tomorrow, so my dress was picked out. February 13, Wednesday 2018. Smiling, I put on the black and red school uniforms. Hinako, Taro, and Osana were waiting outside.
When we got to school, Kokona and Saki were waiting for me.
“Kizana said to tell you that the new student, Nemisis-chan- Are you okay?”
I blacked out.
