Im suggesting that maybe, in the Tall Grass, when you wake up a pokemon (not getting the Egg) a battle would start against the WIld Pokemon. Also, a pokemon would be required to go with you into the tall grass, so wild battles can be initiated.

Riako has said many times that Pokeheroes is an Adoptables site, not a battling site. Plus, for people like me who greatly rely on the tall grass during hunts, it would be really annoying to have to battle a Pokémon just for the timer to start again. For easy rarity hunts, where the timer is 3 minutes, that would not be fun having to battle a wild Pokémon just to get an egg every 3 minutes.

And for most people (at least most I've talked to) battling is not their main focus, shiny hunting or Pokedex collecting is. So they wouldn't really have the right Pokémon to battle with.
