I think there should be an icon or border (like with shiny and mega-able pokemon ) if the pokemon in your storage or party has been set up for trade, auction or wonder trade so that you know if it is already set up or if you can place it anywhere.

It would also be good if the distinction was different for the various trades such as different colours or different icons.

Sounds reasonable. Although - How would it work in i.e. setting up a trade? Perhaps there would be a separate row called "Has been sent to AH/Trade yet"? Something similar to this?

Personally, the text is too long and should be shortened, but it's just a basic idea.

Yeah i like your idea of the text....... the idea i had was that after an item saw sent to trade it would get that distinction so that you know not to try to set it up again and have to see the "This Pokemon has been set up for the next Wondertrade." type pop-up. something like this:


greying out the pokemon could also be a good idea

I like the idea of graying out the Pokemon. It would make it easier to tell what is what, but that would be a lot of little Pokemon sprites to recolor for the spriters, would it not? I get that recoloring is a super easy thing to do, especially on such a small icon, but there are still well over 700 Pokemon with mini icons that would need to be recolored to gray in order to make this possible, no?

See, I actually wouldn't know if there was a way to make them gray without having to have a separate gray mini sprite. So that's something to think about.

But see, something I would like to see with this suggestion as well, is when/if we hovered over these grayed out mini sprites.. like, it would be cool to have them say exactly what they were busy with. Maybe in a hover message, that would say "This Pokemon is currently set up in the GTS!" or /insert other scenario here

That way we would know exactly what the Pokemon was doing. I mean, with the grayed out Pokemon idea, we already would know that they couldn't be offered, but it'd be neat to know why as well.

Overall, support! It'd make it super nice and easy when setting up Pokemon.

I dont know much about coding or how this website works in terms of 'backstage' processes so I can't give any input on that.


I totally agree with your idea of having them say where they are! I put that in for the border and icons but wasn't sure how it could work with the greying out but it would be great to have it ........ maybe in a way similar to Green-'s idea .

Hmm, what about greying them out like the missing pokédex entries? From what I've seen, those aren't separate sprites, so there's probably a coding Ri could use.

Woah, I love this idea. Can I add something though, RUMBLE. I use 6 Ninetales for rumble, so it would be nice to know which one's I've already sent. Other than that, THIS IS SO UNDERRATED OH MY-

Support! I think it would be good to apply this to any busy Pokemon, such as those on Route 53, in your Battle Team or Rumbling.

I think maybe removing that pokemon from that box till it doesn't come back from AH (if it is not bought by someone) would be better.

I feel like there was a similar suggestion a while back, but I cannot find it now. It was to have something like this for when a Pokemon was busy. As in, not just trading, but we would know if a Pokemon was in trade, rumbling, on a battle team, etc. I definitely support this but I also think it should be extended to the other things counted as a Pokemon being busy.

Alright, so this was originally suggested here, with a bit more details and colour-coded borders, depending on the kind of 'busy' the pokémon is. As this suggestion doesn't really add anything special to the whole idea, I'd like to encourage you to go support the original suggestion and maybe go give it a bump :)
