Plot: in Unova, N (RPed by me) has succeeded in becoming the champion his team has managed to take out the trainer who captured zekrom, and now Pokemon, and trainers are being seperated from one another. N has placed a ban on all trainers who are holding Pokemon as their partners, or team members, and Team Plasma is the only group allowed to catch, train, and keep Pokemon, and they search for trainers who are traveling. Once the trainer is captured they have two choices. Give up their partners for Plasma to release, or be arrested for harboring pokemon.

He wears a black backpack with red designs, along with a white-and red cap. He also wears a silver bracelet with a pearl on it. The pearl covers a burn mark on the back of his palm.

She also wears an ice-blue scarf. She wears an elaborate silver hairband with many jewels. The centre jewel is actually a keystone which she currently has no use for.

Other: She is one of the only Plasma members to be allowed Pokémon. The grunts ensure that she has minimal contact with each other, but they share a strong bond and she's willing to do anything for Sceptile. She carries a whip-like device to brainwash Pokemon temporarily.

Looks/wears: Bright blue eyes, freckles across her nose, and curly hair that she usually wears in a high ponytail. She is slightly short for her age with an athletic figure. Gracie normally wears a short-smokey purple coloured dress, a dark grey stripe going around the waist of it, with a dark blue plaid shirt with the sleeves rolled up and the bottom tied over the top. She wears black shorts under the skirt of her dress, black boots, and black fingerless gloves, all to give her outfit a touch of practicality even while keeping a feminine look. She has a dark grey backpack and a keystone attached to a necklace that she wears under her dress.

Other: She's lived with just her dad for as long as she can remember. Back in Sinnoh she did not get to start her Pokemon journey because she was busy helping out at a local ranch to earn some money to help her dad (It was while working there that she was gifted an egg that later hatched into her first partner - Chimchar). When her dad got a new job though, one that involved moving to Unova, she finally had her chance to start her journey and work towards her dream of becoming the Champion! She already knew that she would be taking her Chimchar on her journey with her as her starter, so she would often spend the time before she was to set off for her journey training with the young Pokemon - occasionally some of her dads Pokemon would join her. It was during one of her training sessions where she was out with Chimchar as well as her dad's Riolu, Shinx, and Vaporeon, that Team Plasma arrested her dad and took away his other Pokemon - Charizard, Arcanine, and Rapidash. Gracie was lucky that she was not with him and that she remained free, though her dad being taken gave her a new goal - she was going to become strong enough to get him and his partners back! She did not care how dangerous it was, she had to do it. There was no way that she could just remain at their house without him.

Tiger stood in the center of route one. His Cyndaquil was standing in front of him with his back turned to his trainer, and his back lit in flames. Her two glared at a Plasma member "now then" the plasma grunt repeated "you just got here, but you have two choices...release your Pokemon, or be arrested" the grunt laughed lowly, and sneered. Tiger narrowed his eyes, and looked at his Pokemon coolly.

"Cyndaquil get out of here" Tiger said lowly. The fire Pokemon looked at him, first in shock, but nodded as if in understanding. The Pokemon then turned around, and ran towards town which was behind them. "Alright my Pokemon is not mine anymore...now leave" Tiger said lowly to the grunt.

"Liar!" The grunt yelled, and glanced at the remaining 5 pokeballs on his belt. The trainer then ran at Tiger swiftly.

Tiger sighed and shook his head "you never give up do you?" He said half annoyed half amused. "No matter. I can escape you easily" Tiger laughed, and ran toward town with the grunt chasing him.

"Surely you could've found a better place to hide?" A Plasma Grunt says, accompanied by many others, glaring at a Raichu who was standing in synergy with its trainer.
As they stood near N's Castle, Victor looks at the Grunt carefully.
"I surrender. I'm releasing this Raichu, my only Pokemon." Victor says.
Raichu puts up a dramatic act of sadness, then runs away.

"How do I know this was your only Pokemon?" The Grunt asks blandly.
"Don't you have Pokeball detectors with you?" Victor asks with an air of amusement,
The grunt then takes out an instrument, and brandishes it around Victor. Nothing happens.
"All clear. Take him to the base!" The grunt instructs, and Victor is soon bound and taken to N's castle.

Tiger narrowed his eyes, and heard his pursuer behind him. He then sighed "you don't give up do trainer said in an amused tone.

The grunt growled angrily, and called out a Stoutland. "Get that wimp" the grunt commanded. The Pokemon growled, and ran after Tiger.

The trainer then rolled his eyes "hypocrites" he grumbled, and darted past a bush. He then called out in Pokemon, and the Cyndaquil returned with a Samurott, and Charizard. The three Pokemon then used a combination of flamethrower, swift, and ice beam. The moves hit the grunt, and his Pokemon, and they were sent flying off. "Nice job guys" Tiger panted, and grabbed Cyndaquil's pokeball once more. He then looked around, and noticed he wasn't in route one anymore, but further away closer to white forest. "Huh...we ran a long way...must have cut through the route path. Come on let's go into the forest...at least Plasma isn't willing to bother Pokemon for one human" Tiger said simply, and returned the Samurott, and Charizard.

"Do we really have to go to Unova? It sucks!" Lauren whined. The blondette's hair was then ruffled by Maria, who smiled.

"It's the best we can do. For Summer, right? Free her trainer?" Lauren slowly nodded, hugging Maria closely. They arrived by boat in Castelia, and had to be careful to not let Summer - or any of their Pokeballs - be exposed to anyone.

"Excuse me, ma'ams," a voice from behind said. "But we are to check you for Pokeballs. All Pokemon must be released." A Team Plasma grunt stood there, holding a Pokeball detector.

"Why may that be?" Maria asked with a falsely polite voice.

"It's our champion's orders."

"Well I can assure you, we're merely visiting. Lauren here is Sinnoh's assistant champion. We're here to... congratulate N on become champion."

"Oh, my apologies Miss Amiya and company. Right, I shall escort you soon. For now, would you like to see the sights of Castelia?"

"It would be an honor," Lauren said. As the grunt lead them to a hotel, Lauren and Maria started to whisper. "This seems really suspicious."

"I do agree."

“Alright, Chimchar, I know you can do this!” Gracie called out from where she was stood facing her first partner. They were currently hiding out in the White Forest and since it seemed safe enough at the moment (in other words there being no sight of any Team Plasma grunts around) she had decided to take the time to get some training in with her team. Currently she was working with her Chimchar on his Flame Wheel.

The Chimchar looked towards her and nodded his head slightly, a determined look on his face.
Gracie flashed him a slight smile before bracing herself and looking determined back at him. She nodded her head at him, giving him the signal to go for it.

Oh boy, was she glad that she had braced for the attack, her arms crossed in front of her face to offer some protection, when the flaming wheel that was her Chimchar came charging at her.
“Ugh!” she grunted, falling backwards as the attack ended and Chimchar landed on his feet a few metres away from her – looking proud of himself for a few minutes before rushing up to his trainer, worried.

She shook her head slightly to clear her thoughts before grinning at her Chimchar. “That was great! You’re getting so much stronger!” She told him as she grabbed him in a hug.

All of a sudden her Riolu – her dad’s Riolu, he belongs with her dad, no matter how much he feels like part of her team now – shot to attention from where he was practicing his punches against a tree. He ran towards her as he grabbed her attention, pointing back towards the entrance of the forest.

“Wha- Someone’s near here?” Gracie looked shocked for half a second before she jumped into action. “Hide!” She called out to her Pokemon. She grabbed her backpack from where she had abandoned it earlier against a tree, paused only long enough to put it on her back and let Vaporean climb onto her shoulders, before she started to climb one of the trees. She knew that her other Pokemon would be doing the same thing.
Once she was high enough she sat herself down on one of the branches, leaning her back against the trunk of the tree as she caught her breath. She smiled slightly as her Axew settled himself on her lap.

They would be safe out of sight up in the trees and if they needed to then they had the option of a surprise attack from above. Yes, they would be safe. They had to be.

Mira relaxed in her home in Virbank City, her Squirtle asleep on her chest. She had just finished unpacking, and both her and her companion were exceptionally tired.

Mira herself was about to fall asleep when there was a loud, hard knock on the door that made her sit bolt upright, sending Squirtle flying off her chest with a squeak. "Inspection!" A gruff, low voice growled. "Open up!"

She sighed and rolled her eyes, picking Squirtle up. "You know what to do," She whispered, making the Squirtle nod in understanding. Mira opened the window of her house and Squirtle climbed out, hiding.

Tiger walked into White Forest with Cyndaquil on his shoulder. The fire Pokemon was looking around in concern. "You don't think there will be any grunts hiding nearby" the Pokemon asked.

Tiger glanced over, and sighed. He understood his Pokemon better than most trainers, and remembered the legend that had given him the ability to understand Pokemon all those years ago. "I'm not sure, Cyndaquil. We should just keep our guard up" he said quietly, and smiled. "You Samurott, and Dusk did great job with that grunt today" he laughed,mand remembered the battle from earlier.

Cyndaquil was about to respond when he froze. Tiger then glanced at Cydnaquil "are you alright" Tiger asked softly. The Pokemon was looking into the trees at something Tiger couldn't see. Taking it as a precaution, Tiger looked around wildly, and called out "show yourself" into the trees.

Gracie froze when she heard a voice call out. How did they know that she was there? She quietly shushed Axew as he started to make some noise. If whoever it was knew that she was in the trees, then they likely had some Pokemon with them. It would be just her luck to stumble across some of the grunts who actually had Pokemon!

She glanced around at the ground below her, trying to figure out which direction the voice had come from, before she looked between her Pokemon. ‘Okay, we can get out of this,’ she thought to herself.

She pointed at Shinx to indicate to come closer, which the Pokemon did, crawling across the branch that they were resting on until she was nearly in Gracie’s lap with Axew. She bent forward to be closer to Shinx’s level, closing the rest of the gap.
“I’m going to need you to be as quick as you can now, okay?” she whispered to Shinx, her voice as quiet as she could make it, “I know you can do it though. When I give you the signal I need you to jump down and do the best Shock Wave that you can manage.”

Gracie smiled as the Shinx nodded her head, pressing a kiss to the top of the Pokemons head, “Good girl,” she said before she turned her head slightly to address the Vaporeon that was still draped around her shoulders. “You know what I need from you, don’t you?” she smiled as she addressed one of the Pokemon that she had grown up knowing.
Vaporeon flicked her tail slightly as she nuzzled Gracie’s cheek. “I know,” she murmured before shifting forward on the branch to allow the water type to climb down on to her own branch.

As soon as she was free of Vaporeon she turned to the remaining three Pokemon, “Come here, Axew,” she mumbled as she lifted him up to place him on her shoulder, “Hold on tight to the backpack, okay? And you two,” she looked at her Chimchar and Riolu, “Get ready to make a quick escape.”

Once she was sure that all of the Pokemon were ready for their assigned roles, Gracie shifted on her branch as quietly as she could, ready to make a quick decent.
Glancing down to where the voice had come from she cleared her throat, pushed her fear to the back of her mind (they would not be caught!) and then called out: “No chance, grunt!”

And that was the signal for Vaporeon and Shinx to leap from the branches, one firing off a Hydro Pump and making a quick retreat before the other fired a Shock Wave through the trees in the direction of the voice. The electric type move being fired just in time for Gracie to land on the ground and catch sight of their target.

“Wait, since when did Plasma grunts wear normal clothes?”

The boy froze, and glanced at cyndaquil. The small fire Pokemon was hit with the hydro pump, and fell off his shoulder. Unbalancing Tiger, and confusing him at first. "What the?" Tiger said dazed, and tried to jump back from the shock wave, but was hit. He fell back as well, and growled.

"Cyndaquil cynda! (You'll pay for that)" cyndaquil snapped angrily, and pushed himself past his hurt trainer. He shook water from his pelt, and lit his back flames in defene. He then shot off a flamethrower, only to gasp, and instantly flinch as his trainer got in the way of the move shielding the target he aimed at, which was Shinx.

"We aren't going to fight" Tiger said evenly to Cyndaquil, and narrowed his eyes at the trainer of the two Pokemon who were attacking him and his cyndaquil. His emerald eyes weren't giving any of his emotions away as he stood his ground. "No grunts don't wear normal clothes.." He replied cautiously "though may I dont blame you for attacking us like that...after all N is well...not the best champion around" he finished coolly.

“Oh no,” she mumbled, barely restraining herself from hitting her head, “Look, I’m sorry for attacking you. Is Cyndaquil alright?” She asked as she crouched down to soothe Shinx, the small Pokemon half scared about losing her trainer again. She looked over at the stranger and his Pokemon, trying to determine for herself if the unfortunate Pokemon really was okay – she knew for herself that Vaporeon could pack a punch in her Hydro Pump!

“Yeah, you could say that again,” she muttered, shaking her head at the thought of the champion. Oh how she would love to become strong enough to beat him! ‘Patience,’ she thought, ‘patience and lots of work.’

“If you aren’t a grunt then I guess you’re hiding out?” she asked him after scooping Shinx up and holding her against her chest, slightly unnerved by the lack of emotion in his eyes. She would not be letting her guard down, not while she had her Pokemon to look after and a job to do still. And not letting her guard down meant still being ready to make a quick break for it.

Tiger blinked for a moment, and remembered how Cyndaquil was hit by the hydro pump. He then turned to the small fire Pokemon, and examined him. "Hey are you alright" he asked softly. Cyndaquil nodded, and replied softly, and the boy nodded.

"Cyndaquil said he's fine" the boy responded kindly, and smiled. His cold, and guarded expression relaxing a bit. Cyndaquil then wriggled out of the trainer's arms, and climbed to Tiger's shoulder once more. "After all we've been through worse ambushes before.." He said simply, and laughed. "As well as fought Lance once" he trailed off. He then sighed, and shook the memories away of his battle with Johto's champion.

"Yeah I'm hiding out. Actually I just got into the region from Johto, and I'm looking to take down N, and free my brother, and my rival" he admitted with a sigh. "Though..,that won't be easy."
