I have a pc that has the bad habit of taking a while to load in the mega-able symbol and the shiny star even after the webbrowser says it's done loading so I'm constantly doubting myslef on longer chains "but what if I did had one but my pc was acting up again?" so I got to thinking after seeing on my feeds that other users where having the same problem.

what if there was a notification for when you hatch a mega-able like there is for shinies?
right now we get this message when we hatch a shiny:

By PokéRadar - 1 Minute and 13 Seconds ago.
Congratulations! A shiny Caterpie hatched out of one of your eggs (Chain #130)!

so the mega-able notification could look like this:

By PokéRadar(or Alarm clock) - x Minute and x Seconds ago.
Congratulations! A Mega-able X hatched out of one of your eggs (Chain #X)!

or that the chain on the profile page gets an extra line?
like now for instance it says: (copied from my profile)

Shiny Hunt

articuno13 is currently hunting Ralts.
Hunt started: 23/05/2017

Chain: 16
(0 Shinies hatched so far.)

but it would change to:

Shiny Hunt

articuno13 is currently hunting Ralts.
Hunt started: 23/05/2017

Chain: 16
(0 Shinies hatched so far.)
(0 Mega-able hatched so far)

or even better that both get implemented, it would help calculate whether a chain was worth it to continue as well :)

(Of course that thread doesn't add the mega-able section on the Pokeradar, so that's a difference I guess, but the main point of the thread is a notification in general).
