Okay, this might just be me getting EXCEPTIONALLY unlucky, but I think this might actually be a bug. No matter how much I fish at the Emera Beach, I can never, ever, EVER, catch a Shellder. I've never caught one. And apparently, from what I understand, they should be kinda easy to find? I don't know, if anyone else is getting this issue it's probably a bug, but as I said, it could just me being (ironically) unlucky.

If you haven't got the shiny rod then they are rare as you need it to upgrade it, just keep trying!

That's the thing though--I need Shellder to get the upgrade for the Excellent Rod. I don't get it! They should be somewhat possible to find.

I think you're just unlucky. Even with a Shiny Rod, let me tell you, Shellder are extremely rare. They're there, just.. hiding or something.

Same. I fish a fair bit, and while I caught a considerable number of fish, I've only ever caught the one Shellder. And it's really irking me.
