I'm looking into drawing tablets now. Does this one look like a good one to start out with?

I use One by Wacom. It's relatively cheap, and pretty basic. Easy to learn and practice on so you can get accustomed to one before you decide to do anything more fancy/expensive.

I've had mine for 3 years. I think I'll ask for a new one for my birthday because this one is finally started to die on me. ^^;

It depends on where you get it from, iirc I got mine on Amazon for like $80. .. $132 dollars is way too much for this basic of a tablet tbh. I'd look at a couple different websites.

I did find one that's $72, but it's kinda small when I looked at the size. I did find a cheaper one that is larger. I prefer a large working space.

Hey, grats at you both!! It takes a little getting used to, but soon you'll be well on your way ^^ Going back to the previous conversation, I recommend FireAlpaca or MedibangPaint for art programs. They both work really well, and are a lot more useful than MS Paint. Again, takes adjusting, but it really is worth it in the long run. They're both free ^^

i use medibang paint, and i can also recommend it! firealpaca isn't exactly my favorite, but it's good too.
and (if your computer can handle it) i also suggest krita. it can be tricky to figure out and might be laggy, but hey, it's actually fairly decent.

Just gonna say i'm getting some new fire alpaca brushes so you may or may not see some "art" of me just messing around with them.

Edit:
This is what i did with a couple of moments of just messing around with one of these brushes & the blur & star brush (the blur brush only to make the starts look a bit more.. glowy)
