To get the Legendary Pokémon in the Gem Exchange, the Gems needed are partially random. Because of this, I am making a guide to the Gems needed.

Before I begin, I would like to explain that the Gems aren't entirely random, nor are they completely fixed, contrary to popular belief. In actuality, there are several possible combinations of Gems for each one. The combinations are linked between Legendary Pokémon. For example, if Yveltal has combination 1, then Xerneas will also have combination 1. Additionally, it should be noted that ALL combinations require 75 of each Gem, and the last Gem is Dragon. Thus, Dragon Gems will not be listed, nor will quantity.

Now, without further ado, here is the list of combinations:

YVELTAL:

ZYGARDE (all also include Fairy; all Gem costs are 50 instead of 75):

Something interesting to note is that Zygarde's variable Gems are the same as those of the Yveltal of the set before (with the first Zygarde being the third Yveltal).

If you have any more combinations to add, please post! This guide is far from complete as it is! Even if your combinations are already listed, please post if you have Yveltal's first combination and Xerneas' second, or vice versa, so I can determine whether or not my theory regarding linked combinations is correct.
