No Support…?
I don't really get this suggestion, but my question is- Are you serious?
How do we know if an item is 'overpriced'? Checking the Price Thread?
The reason why the Price Thread is in discussion is because the products are priced by personal demand/demand, availability and function. No one have to use the price in the thread, the prices in the thread are only amount that would be fair, but some people would rather pay more or less then the amount listed, that's their own choice. If someone wish to price a magikarp 5,000 each, link them to the thread, but if they refuse to not follow the price, then let them be, it's their pokemon and they can price it however they want [They probably won't get any buyers, too.]

You cannot make a rule that prevents someone from pricing something however they want. If you are going to say 'it would prevent scams' then there is already a rule for that
Quote from "Rules'3.2 No scam trades like passing off a regular Pokémon as something that it's not, e.g. special powered ("mega-able") or retro; or doing anything else that is considered acting deliberately unfair. This is valid for the whole site - including the Global Trade Station, the Auction House, the Gem Exchange and the forum.

Via google, this is what a scam is
Quotescam

noun

1. a dishonest scheme; a fraud.

verb

1. swindle.

So for example, user 1 sells a regular magikarp for 50,000 to user 2, stating that it's a mega-able. User 2 payed but discovered that it's not a mega-able, User 2 reports User 1 for scamming. That is a scam.

No Support for reasons Craig already stated.

Also, no one would buy the overpriced item(s) or Pokémon unless they really want to and in most cases they don't. Despite the Price Check existing, there really is no definite price for anything and it can be swayed depending on the buyer or seller.

No support, for the reasons stated. Face it, people will always put overpriced pokemon on the auction house. It always happens when you need a certain Pokemon for something.
Also, I'd hate to sound rude but you don't capitalize every word in your sentence.

Rejected due to the high amount of "No Support" by our community (0 Support, 29 No Support, 6 Don't Care)

This would be really hard to enforce/control - plus that's what you call "free market"...
