''call me Xena'' she purred, keeping Justin pinned with her massive paw and started to bathe his head.
Justin struggled and tried to keep his face from being licked.
''stop you over-sized house cat!'' he protested.
Xena simply ignored him and continued with what she was doing, the hairband that he used to put his hair up with into a bun coming undone, which caused his semi-long hair to stand up.

''ugh, cat slobber! you ruined the hair!!'' Umbra hissed in his slightly higher tone, soon disappearing into the shadow's and reappeared beside the tree, running back over to where Belle was and picked his book up.
Xena chuckled and purred softly, enjoying herself a little now.

"What is it, bud?" Fallow mumbled into the softness of Tempest's mane as the creature rose abruptly to his feet and pointed his muzzle to the sky. His nostrils flared as he sniffed and his muscles shifted with tenseness, causing Fallow steady herself on the beast's back. She wiped the tears from her eyes, only because it was causing her vision to blur to the point where she couldn't see, and numbly watched the trees blur by as Tempest darted deeper into the woods. He stopped, his tail engulfing in electricity and flicking around. Fallow hoisted herself on top of Tempest's head so that she could see the creature below her.
"Dawn?" She croaked, the tears beginning to well up again. Dawn stood on top of the Griffin, drawing her arm close to her chest and causing a tree branch to outstretch as a bridge in between them. Fallow leaped onto it, jumping into her sister's arms and allowing herself to be a sobbing mess into her shoulder. "Come on," Dawn whispered, holding her tightly, "I'm bringing you home."
Fallow sniffed and pulled back immediately, looking up with a broken face. "I-i can't..."
Dawn's eyebrows furrowed, her sentimental expression hardening. "It's not safe here, Fal. I'm not letting myself lose you again. We're family." Fallow, too weak from crying and too conflicted to argue, allowed herself to sit. The Griffin silently flew off.

''Justin told me to pick it up, so it doesn't get left behind'' he said.
Xena yawned lazily and got up, stretching and flexing her claws before she strutted over, giving Belle a quick lick before heading off.
''i'm gonna go pay my fluffy friend a little visit... bye bye for now little kittens~'' she purred, soon disappearing into the shadows.

Draco kept hidden as he watched what happened between Fallow and Dawn before seeing them both fly off, clenching his teeth slightly out of a bit of anger.
i feel like we've all just been betrayed... Max won't be too happy either..... he thought, soon heading back to the house to bring the news of what happened.

Maxwell sat on the front steps and kept Dusk close as he pet him, humming softly as he pet the little owlet.
''your mama will be back soon little buddy, but you get to hang out with papa~'' he hummed, gently hugging Dusk and treating him as his little feathery bird child.

"D-dawn?" Fallow murmured, letting her sister cocoon her in warmth. She spoke like a child, her mind numb from heartbreak and the relief of reunion. At least they're both safe, she thought, trembling. "I... I left people behind. I didn't even say anything."
Dawn's grip tightened protectively. Her tone darkened, but Fallow couldn't see her face. "I'm sorry I had to do this. You don't understand how unsafe it is there, Fal--you can't go back. I can't leave you behind, especially after what happened."
"I left Fawn." She whispered, her voice croaking--she knew better than to mention Maxwell to her sister.

Draco soon made it back and called out to everyone for a meeting before entering through the back door.
Alex, Crystal, Viola, Maxwell, and Shadow all perked up, all of them soon entering the house for the meeting.

"Who died?" Skye said, only half-joking.
"Is everything alright?" Robin asked, a bit more nicely as he took a seat on the bar stool to listen to Draco. He leaned on the counter with Venom at his feet, Skye sitting on the countertop next to him with cold eyes and a tilted head. Mavis was already sitting on the couch and whipped her head towards the sound of Draco's voice, snapping her book closed and sitting up intently.
It took Marshall a couple of seconds, but he eventually emerged from the basement with ash or some sort of soot on his cheek.

''for once i agree with Umbra with something.....'' he grumbled, dropping his book off in the bedroom as he grabbed a new pair of boxers, deciding to keep his sleeveless hoodie shirt and jeans before disappearing into the bathroom for his shower.

soon enough Max, Alex, and Viola were all seated, Maxwell leaving Dusk in Shadow's care along with Fawn.
Draco glared at Skye and sighed, crossing his arms as he looked at everyone, still a little on edge before he spoke up, though a little hesitant due to his brother.
''Fallow's sister found her and took her with her.... to where i don't know, but they were on that griffin'' he said.
Maxwell's eye's widened and he stayed silent, trembling slightly as he felt his heart acheand tears beginning to well up in his eyes.

"Are you sure it was the same griffin?" Robin asked, and soon the room burst into rapid fire questions.
"Was it against her will?" Mavis said softly.
"When was this?" Skye grumbled, remembering seeing Fallow earlier.
"Wait, she has a sister?" Marshall smudged the dust on his cheek, which only spread it and made it worse.

Draco looked at everyone with wide eyes as he was pelted with questions, but soon straightened them out in his head and sighed.
''for starters there has only been one griffin, this happened a few minutes ago since i was hurrying back, Fallow went with Dawn willingly, and yes, she has a sister and brother.... the brother's whereabouts are unknown but we know Fallow isn't in any danger'' he rattled off, answering what ever he could.
among the chaos, Maxwell had slipped away and was using his practiced ability to become a wolf again with Shadow's help, taking advantage of the distraction to sneak away and book it to the forest.
being in his wolfish form granting him better speed thanks to running with four legs.

"Look, we... know Dawn. As long as she's safe, we don't have to worry too much." Robin said this with a sigh, trying to reassure the group. Venom lifted his head and licked his lips, blinking slowly from sleepiness. "We could always send this little guy to go about and look for her, though... he's not the worst scout," he offered.
"How do we know she's safe?" Skye challenged, ice in her words, "For all we know, breaking apart makes it easier for that damn Griffin Kid to just pluck her off. Also, the only reason we're safe in this house is that Tempest does all the dirty work and wards off the Beasts for us... Wait, did Tempest go with her?" She looked back up at Draco.
"Not to be crude, but Fallow's Fantasy powers aren't all that strong. She won't attract any Beasts alone... is her sister the same way?" Mavis asked softly, looking around.
"I'm... not quite sure how strong Dawn is, actually. But she's been taking care of Fallow since she was a baby, and I'm sure she can keep her safe still," Robin answered.

Viola and Alex both simply kept quiet, choosing to listen before speaking up.
''like i said, there has only been one damn griffin, it's the same one as before... and yes Tempest was with her, and Dawn is a nature fantasy just like Fallow but Dawn's capabilities aren't truly known'' he said once he could chime in.

Xena soon melted out of the shadow's near Tempest and gave a soft purr like chuckle, swaying her tail as she came into his sight.
''hello old friend..... how have the fantasies been pamperin' ya...?'' she asked, strolling over to the massive lion casually.

"Where's Maxwell?" Robin asked, looking around the room.

Tempest flicked his tail and turned his head to look at Xena, lightning flitting in his eyes with interest. "Enough of that human speech," he said teasingly, purring in an ancient language that was more familiar to the both of them. "I'm surprised to see you here. What have you been up to?"

''what do we do now?'' Alex asked.

she flicked her tail and soon sat down, curling her tail elegantly around her paws.
''very well..... and i've been prowling around, hunting, sleeping.... i just recently visited one of my little kittens.. there's a none fantasy with them but she has potential to gain the ability from one of us fantasy creatures'' Xena said in they're more familiar language.

"We don't even know how far off he went, much less in what direction--" Robin started.
Skye interrupted, "Which means we split up quickly. He's not a Dark fantasy and he can't shadow-port or whatever, I doubt he got far."
"I--don't go alone! It's not safe, we don't want another accident," Mavis warned.

Tempest's mane crackled and darkened when he heard this. "It's not safe to mess about with nature like that..." His eyes spoke with warning when he looked at her, "although I suppose that's always been your forte."

Alex and Draco both nodded and headed out the back door, already splitting off toward's the forest to start looking for Maxwell.

''how do you think the fantasies actually come about you furball...? we're immortal beings who created the fantasy race..... i can't believe you've forgotten that'' she mused with a smirk.

Maxwell soon halt once he stumbled upon a cabin, staying hidden in the clearings treeline with his ears pinned back, baring his teeth slightly as he watched to see if anything happened.

Tempest yawned and flopped on his side, his tail swishing a bit more serenely. "Of course I haven't forgotten, it's just... My time with meddling is over, Xena. It's not like we need any more Fantasies running about--especially since they suffer in a world amongst the humans." He was silent before his nose twitched curiously. "Say, are you missing babying a new Fantasy? Is that what this is?"

Jasper whistled and slipped off the roof of the cottage, twisting his wrist so that he could slowly float to the ground. He placed his hands on his hips and squinted up at the sky impatiently, missing his griffin, and scuffed his shoe into the ground.

''i have motherly instincts that are dying to come out Tempest, you and Ray will never understand what i and Willow go through.... we both want so badly to be mother's of our own cubs rather than creating a fantasy to fill that aching void in us......'' she muttered, her agitation slowly fading now.
soon Xena laid down and looked away from him once more as she laid her head down, ears pinned back against her skull and huffed.

Maxwell's hackles raised as he seen Jasper and fought back the growl that had threatened to escape as he watched him.
that's the guy who had that stupid griffin.... he thought bitterly.
