It was a cold, brisk morning when Froststar left his den, he noticed that only Hollowtail was awake, and about to go on a hunting mission. "The animals will be energing soon as leafbare is behind us now." He said coming up hehind him.

"I know, its good, we still have alot of food however." Hollowtail said looking a the kill pile, almost as tall as the medecine den.

"Leafbare was good to us this year." Froststar said.

Silvermoon stirred, blinking away the sleep. The silver tabby yawn and stretched before she walked out of the den. Her blue eyes scanned the clearing before she waited to see if she would be hunting. That was her favorite part about being a warrior. She was quick and swift, as could be expected from any slender cat.

Lionfang was still sound asleep. The tom was dreaming about protecting his clan from foxes, happily fighting beside his clanmates.

Greytallon emerged from behind Silvermoon. "I'm guessing you want to hunt? As always?" she said giggling. Silvermoon was kind of her best friend, so they teased eachother alot.

Froststar looked at all of the cats that were awake. "I know Silvermoon and Hollowtail will be hunting today, anyone else?" He asked

Berrypool emerged from the Queen's Den, it was empty and lonely in there, she wished she could be with the warriors, to bad she was expecting 4 Kits.

Silvermoon chuckled hearing Greytallon. "When do I not want to hunt" she said with a smile. "I love hunting. Its one of the best things about being a warrior" she replied.

Stormpelt left the warriors den and grabbed a mouse before running over to Berrypool. "Here you go. Need to make sure you eat well" he said placing the mouse at Berrypool's feet and licked her cheek.

Ravenpaw jumped as she heard others outside in the camp. She looked around with her amber eyes and sighed. She had been the only one born in her litter, and her mother had died in leafbare from greencough. It caused Ravenpaw to feel left out and alone. She had no other kin. The black cat slowly made her way out of the den and looked around.

"There's my apprentice" Greytallon said, moving over to sit next to Ravenpaw. "I know it's lonely, but you'll be glad you get a den to yourself once you are a warrior. The guys smell. Especially Lionfang." She said laughing.

"I know, I do, it's just so lonely in there, i miss you guys." She said in between licking Stormpelt clean.

Froststar looked at Berrypool, "I heard you have some news for us, Berrypool."

Berrypool looked at him confused for a minute. "Oh yes, I do! I know how many kits im expecting! Four!" she said excitedly

Stormpelt was shocked. "You wont be lonely once those kits arrive" he said laughing a bit. He then looked at Froststar. "Would it be alright if I shared the nursery with her until the kits arrive" he asked.

Silvermoon watched Ravenpaw and gave a small sigh. She did feel rather bad for the young apprentice. She barely looked five moons old, but it could have been that her mother passing stunted her growth not being able to nurse as long as other kits did.

Ravenpaw looked at Greytallon. "How do they smell any different than what we smell when they are out of the den" she asked tilting her head. She jumped hearing Lionfang walking out of the Warriors den. The fluffy orange tom had finally woken up.

"It's that when he wakes up, he rubs fome mint leaves on him to take away the odor. At the end of he day, he doesn't lick himself clean." Greytallon said.

Froststar thought for a minute. "Yes, that will be fine, we need help making the den warm, as leafbare has lasted a little longer than expected."

Berrypool jumped in excitement "Oh you don't know how relieved I am, I have been so lonely!"

Froststar looked at her and said "If you told me this, I could have moved Softsight in there with you, she has very good mothering abilities, plus she wants to be a queen so bad! She just doesn't think anyone wants her, she is oblivios to the fact Hollowtail does though, he makes it to obvious." He laughed.

Ravenpaw looked at Lionfang, who walked over to Silvermoon, somewhat jealous of the littermates. "I wonder if he just doesn't realize it" she said.

Stormpelt smiled and licked Berrypool's ear. "Well, you wont be lonely after tonight" he said.

Littleflower stumbled in a sleepy haze as she first stood that morning, blinking groggily. She stretched with a soft yawn, and straightened her posture calmly. The small she cat padded to the den entrance, blinking as the sun hit her face. She smiled, and glanced around before padding towards the nursery.

Softsight was laying in a grassy and sunny spot, letting the warm light hit her. Her tail swayed calmly, and she closed her eye. A soft purring noise was heard from her, though it was only audible to those near her. Her eye blinked open as she heard her name, glancing around at the group calmly.

Featherfur rolled over, eyes closed. He wasn't too excited to get up and start the day. If he was called for or beckoned, he'd get up. But he was comfortable, so he didn't quite want to move.

Berrypool purred with happiness. "I guess not!"

"Silvermoon, Ravenpaw and Greytallon, you all are on hunting duty today. Featherfur, Littleflower, Stormpelt, and Lionfang, you guys are on patrol." He said "Everyone else stay here and and help me expand the warriors hut, except for Berrypool, you need to fix up you queen den."

Littleflower perked at her name, padding to the group. "Patrol? Should I get Featherfur? He was still in the den when I woke." She hummed softly, tail swaying softly.

Softsight hummed softly, closing her eye again as the subject changed. Her tail skimmed the grass as it swayed lightly.

Silvermoon let out a purr. "Have fun on patrol" she told Lionfang and the two parted to their groups.

Ravenpaw looked at her paws. She had yet to catch anything when hunting.

Stormpelt looked at Berrypool. "I will help you with your den and then help the others" he told her.

Froststar looked at her and said "Yes, go on and wake him up, the faster we get this done, the more free time we have."

Littleflower gave a kind smile and nod, padding back to the den. She went to where Featherfur lay, gently jostling him with her paw. "Come on, Featherfur. We have patrol today." Featherfur made a soft groaning sound, standing. He followed her out of the den, a look of resentment on his face. "Got him." She purred as they reached the group.

Softsight jumped a bit, turning to look at Hollowtail. When she saw him, her expression turned into one of joy. "Oh! Good morning, Hollowtail." She said with a warm smile.

"Sorry for surprising you. Haha!" Hollowtail said, he wanted to tll her how he felt, but just couldn't, he wasn't scared of the dark, or heights, but he was scared of rejection. "How'd you sleep?"

Breezetail exited the warriors den with a small yawn, shaking herself out. Her whiskers twitched as she turned to look around the camp, guessing many patrols had already left. With a short sigh, she dove back into the warriors den to nudge Redfoot with her nose. "Get up, furbrain." She meowed to her friend.

With a groan, Redfoot rolled over, facing her. "What?" He asked tiredly, blinking at her.

"Get up," Breezetail repeated dryly. "We should go get on a hunting patrol or something."

Silvermoon nodded and smiled. "I think Ravenpaw should lead the way. She should know where the hunting will be best for her" she said quietly to Greytallon as Ravenpaw looked out toward the camp entrance.

Lionfang looked at Littleflower. "Who wants to lead the patrol" he asked as he looked at Stormpelt. He knew the gray tom wanted to stay and help his mate. "Stormpelt, come on. You can help her when you get back" he said.

Stormpelt sighed as he heard Lionfang. He nuzzled Berrypool once more. "I will be back as soon as I can" he said before he padded over to Lionfang.

Froststar heard her comment and walked in saying "You two woke up so late that everyone already left, you guys are stuck here with me expanding the Warriors den. Or you can help Berrypool set up the Queen den, as she is pregnant with 4 kits."

Berrypool walked into her den, she had to make room for Stormpelt and the kits. Little did she know they would come sooner than expected. "See you later!" she said after she went in.

Littleflower bounced back and forth on her paws, waiting for them to leave. Featherfur let out a yawn, blinking slowly. Littleflower glanced at him, lightly hitting him with her thin tail.

Softsight gave a sigh. "Not well, I'm not sure why though. I was waking up a lot in the middle of the night for seemingly no reason." She shook her head, before looking back up at him. "What about you?"

Silvermoon smiled as Ravenpaw looked back at Greytallon. "Where are we going to hunt" the apprentice asked. She hadn't paid attention to what Silvermoon and Greytallon said.

Stormpelt looked back and smiled at Berrypool.
