A few select trainers traveled to a future Kanto. They were there for an exhibition match, but an attack by Team Rocket stopped the match from happening. The trainers-- each having their own area of expertise-- are sent out to stop Team Rocket, once and for all. But while they try, Team Rocket seems to have their own plans...

Jess woke up, stretching, getting dressed as she always did. She closed the door to her apartment in Vermillion, running to the Subway station to make her way to Indigo Plateau for the tournament she'd be participating in.

Already at the subway station was the recognizable face of the champion, Nick. She stood, leaning against a wall, her Banette floating beside her.

Amara woke to her Alolan Ninetails, Frost, and Arcanine, flare, looming over her. though it was mostly flare because she was licking her face. "I'm up, just stop with that!" Amara groaned sitting up and petting her pokemon.

Rosemary yawned as she was starting to wake up.She had to go to a pc later to get savannah and rocky.She grabbed the four pokeballs which contained the rest of Her pokemon.Rosemary then heard her younger brother knocking on her door,asking for some potions for a friend who had pokemon.She gave him some pokedollars to go and buy his friends some potions.He thanked her and headed out.Rosemary smelled the fresh smell of berry salad as she walked the the stairs.

Aditsan woke up and silently got ready alongside his drowsy Delphox. After carefully tying his shoes with the laces in a perfect butterfly-like knot, he looked up at the Fox Pokémon while standing up. "Let's wake up PJ." Aditsan told his partner, who dreadfully cried out.

"PJ?" Aditsan whispered while shaking his cousin awake, her Delcatty, rolled up at the foot of her bed flicked her tail and opened one eye. "PJ..." Aditsan repeated, this time waking the girl. "Hm???" she asked, inhaling deeply and sitting up. "We have to get ready..." Aditsan told the girl, who'd then turned her attention to her alarm clock. She swore quietly and melted out of her bed before presuming to get ready for the day.

Amara looked into her mirror, her hair was a big mess. "geez..." she mumbled rubbing one eye. She grabbed a brush and started to brush it until it was flat. She then got dressed and was looking for her her boots "I swear they were here somewhere." she said then Frost came up to her with both boots. Amara smiled and took the boots from her partner, petting frost's head. "Thank's girl."

"Rosemary,is that you?"She heard her mother's soft,calm,and soothing voice."Yeh mom."She got to the kitchen and sat."So.whats for breakfast?"She felt she would faint if she didn't eat."Well,Pancakes with berries with it of course!"She put some pancakes on a plate and served it with some maple syrup.She placed it in front of Rosemary and Rosemary drooled a bit of the master piece of food."You sure that you can fed your pokemon?"Her mother turned off the oven and sat at the table with her pancakes on the plate."Yeh mom,I gotta start doing so since I am going to be traveling more now."Her mother nodded."ok then,go visit the professor when you can my darling."She ate one."Also,where is dad and Lucas?"Her mother looked back at Rosemary."Oh they went shopping at the department store."Rosemary finished and got up and put her plates in the sink."Well mom,I gotta go now.I see you tonight hopefully.I got my pokegear with me."Her mother smiled."All righty then sweet heart,stay safe."Rosemary smiled and opened the door to head outside.She start heading towards the pokecenter.

Sakurai was asleep in his apartment, dreaming about the tournament. He had contemplated deeply if he should do it, as he didn't want his Pokemon to get hurt. However, after consulting with his Mimikyu, he decided to do it, as Mimikyu had told him that none of the other Pokemon minded getting hurt during the tournament. Well, he WAS asleep. Until his Zorua and Mimikyu teamed up to come up with a plot to wake Sakurai up. He then proceeded to feed all of his Pokemon and change into suitable clothing.

Amara stretched as she walked down the steps of her house, her pokemon close behind. She grabbed a waffle then headed out the door. she returned Frost and Flare to their pokeballs and brought out her Rapidash, Spirit. She hopped on top of Spirit and had her start walking.

Rosemary breathed in the fresh air and headed in the pokecenter.She headed towards the pcs and withdrawn Samantha and Rocky from the pc but they were still in their pokeballs.She waved at the pokecenter lady and wished her a good day.She walked out pokecenter and headed sent out Robin,her chatot.Robin squawked at her and she helped him on her shoulder.She smiled and sent out Thorn,her shiny serprior.Thorn yawned and looked at her.She petted him and they walked.

After what felt like an eternity to Aditsan, PJ finally finished getting ready and the two exited their hotel room located inside the Pokémon Center.

"Let's see..." PJ mumbled whilst scanning the Town Map. "It looks like we'll have to take the subway in order to get to the stadium or wherever this tournament is being held." she informed. Aditsan simply nodded and looked down at his six Pokéballs.

(never mind ;-;)

Pulling out his Town Map, Sakurai saw that he would have to go through Mt. Moon. Despite Mt. Moon being one of the most notorious places to go through, one lucky person could find a Clefairy there. He grabbed his stuff, got his Pokemon ready, and began to walk for Mt. Moon in order to get to the Indigo Plateau.

Jess smiled as she entered the subway station, with her Raichu and Clefable, her first team members. They scampered beside her as she stretched, cracked her knuckles, and leaned on a separate wall.

Nick stared at Jess for a brief moment, then yawned and stared at her Banette who was entertaining a few young children.

After a long walk through Mt. Moon, with no Clefairy in sight, Sakurai gave up and continued to head towards Pallet Town, to speak to the professor. Coming up in his sight was Pewter City; he knew he was almost there.

Amara hopped off of Spirit when she got to the subway station and returned her to her pokeball. She then let Frost out and they walked into the station.

PJ and Aditsan boarded the subway hurriedly, taking a seat next to one another. PJ let her Delcatty lay across her lap and take a short nap, playing on her Poké Gear a bit.

Aditsan decided to look around, seeing a few trainers leaning against the walls of the subway, one with a Raichu and Cleffable, the other whose Banette appeared to be playing with children on the subway. For a moment he thought of speaking up and starting conversation with the trainers, though quickly changed his mind and disregarded the idea completely.

The Banette floated back to Nick as she stepped onto the train, running a finger through her hair quickly before waving goodbye to the children and taking a seat across from PJ. Banette glanced at Delcatty.

Jess's Raichu scampered onto her shoulder, a spot it had taken a liking too since she had caught it, Clefable walked beside Jess as the trio boarded the subway, sitting down as well.

PJ's Delcatty opened one of her eyes and stared at the trainer and the Pokémon across from her, waving her tail as she analyzed them. PJ looked down at Delcatty after her tail tickled her chin and noticed her staring, looking up and quickly glancing at the trainer and her Pokémon before gently petting her Delcatty.

Aditsan looked over at a trainer with a Cleffable and Raichu, taking out his Pokédex to scan the latter. "It's different than the ones in Alola..." he mumbled though loudly enough for the trainer to hear.

Nick gave a friendly wave to the other trainer, though her face remained in it's usual, serious look. Banette slowly floated over, until it was next to the Delcatty but still a ways away.

Jess looked up, overhearing him speak. "Well, yeah, the ones in Alola evolved to be able to surf easier. I think." She shrugged. "I caught one of each, though. The typing's different." Raichu hopped off Jess's shoulder, carefully walking over to Aditsan.

Amara took a seat across from Addison and pet Frost. Frost allowed it for a bit then put one paw on Amara's wrist and gave her trainer a look that said ok that's enough. Amara chuckled "Ok frost."

After going through the perilous Viridian Forest(getting lost several times), Sakurai finally made it to Viridian City. Not wanting to waste any more time going to the tournament, he sprinted towards the Pokemon League, forgetting about the professor.
