~ Story ~
To humans, this place was just a fairy tale to put small children to sleep for the night.
It seemed too perfect for it to exist.
But, although a human may never in it's life time experience such a place, I can confirm it does, in fact, exist.
It's Utopia for lost, mainly children's, souls that have not fully passed on.
They get lost on the way and find themselves here.
Sometimes, they don't even believe they're dead, because it's so realistic.
They can touch everything, smell everything and even taste.
The thing is...
Souls that find their way here are taken under the wing of the forest's guardian so that they can conserve their energy.
They are then given the choice:
To be guided to the stair way to Heaven.
Or be given the body of a fantasy creature and stay here with the other souls.
Using it's powers, the guardian can match the soul to a perfect body.
Whether that be a human body able to use magic, an animal body with a human voice, or an actual fairy tale creature such as fairies, mermaids, fauns and dragons.
The possibilities are pretty much endless.
The only thing the guardian asks for in return is to try to be at peace with your fellow souls.
Not all of you have the same reason that caused you to arrive here, some more traumatic than others.
~ The Wilderness ~
The place is pretty much an island, the only habitable place in this world.
The island is almost completely woodland, with a beach coastline and a turquoise ocean that never ends.
In the center of the island is a gigantic, willow tree; Named the Tree of Life, it's trunk is hollow with a spiral stair case carved into the inside. Cavities carved into the inner walls are used as homes for some.
For other creatures, they're able to build their own homes. They're often built around the tree of life as it's said to bring luck. But they're free to build wherever they wish.
There is a single river which runs through the center forest that gives the marine creatures, like mermaids, access to the forest center. A bridge links the two sides together.
Wild flowers scattered everywhere, various species of trees and bushes, and, of course, wild animals. It wouldn't be a great forest without them.

~ Undead creatures, ie. zombies, will not be accepted - I don't really class them as fantasy
~ Could shapeshifters please limit their shifts to a few things, rather than everything? I'll feel bad that I'm limiting everyone else to one thing whilst you're able to shift into pretty much anything ;-;
~ A pet/Companion is allowed - just make sure to mention them in your form

She appears as a gentle but lonely character, keeping herself to herself. She's shy when it comes to confrontations and will almost never start a conversation. She hates drama - whether it''s watching it or being a part of it. However, she'll happily console anyone that needs cheering up.
Power:
Besides being small and (mostly) green, which allows her to camouflage easily, and having wings hat allow her to fly/hover, she's practically at one with nature using magic to grow and control plants - mainly the ones she likes (lilies, cornflowers and chrysanthemums) and ones she feels would help the community - medicinal plants - in case someone gets sick.
Cause of death?:
Whilst on a camping trip with her family, curiosity got the better of her and she wondered off - getting herself lost. She was lost for a few days, but with no food, water or shelter, her body shut down, leading to her death. She was found just a day later but could not be revived.
History (optional):
To her, life was perfect. No family problems. Good grades. She had friends. She wasn't bullied. She had a little sister that she loved dearly. There was nothing that she would have changed.

He's a crybaby, though. And sensitive, with a heart bigger than his body. He loves cuddling and being a little spoon. He loves hugs!!

He can jump high and well,, and can trot/gallop/canter quite faster.
Cause of death?:
He was trampled by a horse when he fell off his own during his horse riding lesson. His trainer was devastated, as they found the horse had been showing symptoms of being unstable for weeks. Oliver's death could have been easily prevented.

Oliver had lived with three big sisters, two dogs, and one kitten. He liked life, and was usually happy. He was teased for wearing feminine clothing, but he tried to pay those people no mind. He played volleyball, shot in archery competitions, and rode horses. His room had ribbons galore from his horse show. He loved horses. He was in clubs at school, on sports teams, and had some good friends. He loved it all. He was preparing for the national horse show when he died, having been bucked off and stepped on by his horse, Buzz. There was devastation throughout his school, neighborhood, and family.

One day, she was heading down to Florida to visit her grandparents and cousins by herself. The plane was crashed by a suicidal pilot, killing almost everyone on the flight. People were devastated. He life had been great, no one thought anything could have gone wrong.
