It is the year 2961. Eleven years ago, more than twenty thousand humans escaped the deadliest mass extinction event known to man, the Finnis Omnia, frozen within cryopods. They have built for themselves a new home in the Keppler-452b, now known as Earth 2.0.

Within a few days of landfall, more than nineteen thousand humans perished from a disease native to the planet. The remainder nine hundred or so humans struggle to stay alive in what they previously thought was paradise. Worst thing is, none of us are above twenty six. Their immune systems were the only ones that could cope with the infection, thus preventing death.

But there is hope.

Sent to them less than six years ago and buried far underground, there are the Crypts of Luna. A project spearheaded by Dr. Catherine Elizabeth Mooray, they are the 'resting place' of more than ninety percent of Earth's resources and technology. Blueprints, manuals, prototypes, materials, spare parts, a seed bank, the largest collection of literature known to man, etc. They were sent out to safeguard the rich history and culture of Earth in case something wiped out the majority of humans. There are seven crypts in total. Each is located in challenging locations, defended by anything and everything Dr. Mooray could think of.

Approaching one is hard. But to unlock all seven would be nearly impossible.

But its not like we have a chance, anyways.

Please provide information regarding the character's past instead of simply adding "to be RP-ed". Three sentences is the bare minimum. A whole paragraph would be nice. If it is more than six lines, kindly put it in a spoiler to avoid clutter.
Answers are given AFTER the BBCodes, so they shouldn't be BOLD. They should be REGULAR text.

○ Yes, there are characters without forms. They are NPCs. Generally, I will be the one controlling them. Most NPCs won't be very important, a few will be more or less minibosses, actual bosses, etc.
○ I may change the rules later on, if I do I will mention it in the thread and the main post and new ones be be in bold, so read them. "I didn't know that was a rule" isn't a valid reason.
○ As proof that you have read these rules, state a completely random fact regarding your character.
○ 3 warnings equal one strike. Two strikes equal a permanent ban. There are no temporary bans (they get in the way and someone will likely have to step in to control your character, which breaks rule three).
○ We will wait for five characters to start.
○ Those below 18 in age shouldn't have any jobs.

This is where you can find information regarding where everyone is, what is happening, etcetera.
The remaining humans are scattered around the planet. They lost contact six or so years ago, and the largest known group is where our travellers come from. The main settlement is located in a valley. It is built around a river, where people get food and water from. The settlement has chosen a group to locate the Crypts of Luna.
Aside from the settlement, there are only small groups of humans ranging from lone wolves, and accumulating up to fifteen or so people.
Regarding technology: The settlement shouldn't have any vehicles. Remember, the humans in this case did not have much time to flee. They likely just piled into the escape aircraft ASAP. They do have a more advanced nuclear reactor than us though, along with more efficient water purifier systems. Weapons do not have limited ammo, they are powered using miniature fusion reactors. (How do these reactors fit? Don't ask me.) You might want to have backup batteries, though. Their water is entirely dependent upon the river. However, the humans of the settlement do not have an efficient food storage system. Lucky for them, they're in a tropical climate (for now eheheh). The Crypts have super hi-tech stuff.
Most of the planets is breathable, with temperatures a few degrees colder overall than Earth. Keppler has many active volcanoes due to its higher than Earth mass and density. The clouds on the planet would be thick and misty, covering much of the surface as viewed from space, making satellite imaging useless (no minimaps available to the characters)
NB: If your character is from the settlement, they should probably have a survival kit and a weapon on them. Remember, the Crypts are far, far away and the planet does have a food chain here.
