I asked this question in someone's complaint thread, I forgot which one but my what my question is.
Since the beauty contest sprites for the Alolan pokemon aren't implemented yet (as to my understanding is the issue), when they are will we have to redo the pictures we made or will they be fixed?

(I looked through I was making this thread right, but I'm still not really good at forum stuff, sorry for any mistakes)

Honestly, I don't know, but I can make an inference.

If you evolve a pokemon, you'd have to redo the picture, as on the original it would stay the same. After all, it's a picture, not a video. So I'd assume you'd have to redo it, because going in and fixing all the old photos would be a pain for Riako.

Don't take my word for it, but I'd expect this.

That's really not* the same thing I'm asking though. I mean the Alolan pokemon are missing in the pictures all together, people take a long time to make them then when they take the picture they find out that you can see the pokemon.
What you are saying is a choice, you choose to evolve it therefore yes you would need to redo the picture.

If I had to give an educated guess, I'd say that we'd have to redo the pictures in order to get our Pokemon in it. The images likely save as PNG files rather than arrangements of accessories and choices of Pokemon and backgrounds. If the latter aren't there, there would be no way to recreate the image with the Pokemon in it.

As for the faded Pokeball, that just means there are no posts in the thread that you have yet to read.
