Maria scampers through the woods, her hood up as she sprints along the rocky path to the coven. She must be silent and quick. No attention can be put onto the coven if she values her life at all. A basket rests in her hands, and she is quick about getting it and herself to her destination.

Mae glances around and sees Maria. She motions to her, a half wave. A crow flutters down and sits on her shoulder.

Maria glanced up and saw Mae. She gave a soft smile, but continued to run. Her basket, filled with some random items. Mostly berries, herbs, and furs. She hummed, making sure the blanket over top of the basket was covering it still.

Suddenly, a crow flied off, almost hitting Mae. It was Arien. When he finally reached the redcoat village, he laid down behind a house, and turned into his redcoat form. Then, he walked off.

Mae jumped a little, but shook her head and went into the coven library.

Walking out from a corner was Genny. She was wearing her redcoat uniform as well and nodded at Arien.

Nimbus sat in the trees as the sun slowly descended downwards to reveal the night. I wonder how the other witches are doing, Nimbus thought and sighed silently.

Cirrus looked out the window and stepped out of his house, glancing at the corners of the village. After looking around for any other redcoats, he decided to walk around to patrol the area.

Kevin caught up to Cirrus. He was one of the redcoat leaders, and he thought he should patrol with him.

Mae strode along the path, alone, to the library. There, as she stepped in, she would glance along the collected books, looking for spells.

"Oh, good evening, Kevin," Cirrus whispered, "quiet day, isn't it?" The only thing Cirrus could hear was the rustling of the trees, the wind, and the birds chirping. Other than that, it was completely silent for some reason.

Rainer twirled his sword on patrol before looking into his wallet for a moment. Ten dollars. Enough for a drink and some snacks. He'd go to a vending machine when on break.

Nimbus was getting sleepy, close to falling asleep until he heard the sound of marching. Redcoats? Nimbus' reaction was too slow when the redcoats caught sight of him. "Get it!" one the redcoats yelled and Nimbus ran, casting a row of fire behind him. With instinct, he ran away, hoping they wouldn't chase after him still.

"You're right, Kevin," Cirrus laughed nervously, "and what girl are you talking about?" Cirrus waited for Kevin's reply until he saw smoke rising from the forest. "You see that, right?" he pointed.

"A child when she was taken." Kevin said, starting to go on until he saw the smoke. "Must be witches! Onward!"

Genny glanced at Arien. "There's smoke in the woods."

Mae turns out from the library, a small tome in her hands, as she saw what she thought was smoke rising over a tree. "Darn." She murmured, as she slipped past her small cottage by the center of the coven, and strode down the stairs, beginning to hurriedly walk to the smoke.

Cirrus ran towards the source of the smoke, seeing a group of redcoats in the distance. This could be our chance, he thought.

Nimbus tripped when he ran, not far from the smoke. Dangit, i'm going to die if I don't stop running, he thought, pulling on his hood and got up. For a fact, I know I don't want to die, the witch said in his head and started running again.

Kevin jogged after Cirrus, hurriedly, grinning.

Mae, a crow perched on her shoulder, ran into the fray, glancing around for the fire as the crow lifted off to find Nimbus.

Cirrus arrived at the scene, looking at the straight line of fire. The group of redcoats stood in shock while the witch continued to run away. "Where's the witch? What happened?" Cirrus asked.

Nimbus was still not far enough, the aroma of smoke lingering in the air. He almost gave up until he saw the crow and stood still, waving at the crow. I caused a problem, didn't I? he thought. Oh well!

Nimbus didn't notice Kevin and glanced back at where he started. "Nah, it was my fault," Nimbus laughed nervously, "anyway, there's no time to talk." Nimbus started running again.

Cirrus ran after Kevin and panted. "Dang witches run too fast," he said during breaths.

Mae glanced back at Cirrus and Kevin, seeing them follow. She raised her hands, firing an ice wall in front, which Kevin ran into.

Then she grabbed Nimbus' shoulder and ran.

Shinko was silently watching this happen preparing to aid them if needed. She looked as Mae and Nimbus ran away. She saw the Redcoats run after them and soon casted a blinding light bomb. Shinko soon sprinted off to look for Mae and Nimbus while the Redcoats were left confused and blinded.
