You're not alone...
Everyone has an opposite, someone to counteract their magical power. They don't have to have opposite magics, just enough power to keep each other from being too strong. It's what keeps the world in check, what keeps everyone from gaining too much power.
Until now. Recently, we've discovered that people are being born without opposites, some people even losing their opposites. The magical bonds between these people aren't forming properly or are breaking. We've figured out that it's some evil force trying to spread chaos by allowing the more powerful people to take over, due to them having no opposites.
We also have tracked the source of the dark magic to a mysterious black portal. Ancient records say this leads to The Trail of Never Turning Back, a dimension like ours, except there is no light, and corrupted versions of the ones who've perished there lurk in every corner. Last time this happened, we only managed to put the evil to sleep, many of us dying in the process. Now, however, we need to destroy it once and for all. We've selected a group of random people for the job. Opposite-less or not. However, to make sure no one with an opposite succumbs to the influence of the dimension, everyone with an opposite will have that opposite traveling with them.
Will you come out alive? Or will you wind up as one of the lost souls, forgotten in a dimension of darkness and ruin?

-Anyone can control The Corrupted ("corrupted versions of the ones who've perished there") as they are NPCs and are kind of meant to be destroyed anyway. Just don't be OP with them.
-"The Evil" is the whole Trail of Never Turning Back, but no characters know this. They think it's some entity in the heart of the dimension.
-Please try to refrain from having two of your characters be opposites of each other, it makes it less fun.
-I can't RP love. Just accept it.

Powers: She can fly with her wings, although not infinitely. If she's in real danger, she'll show her eyes, allowing her to manipulate shadows, although she can't summon them. Her wings will also grow large enough to sustain her infinitely until the danger is past.

Nickname: Most people call him 'Bambi' and he got used to it soo much that he sometimes doesnt react if you call him by his real name.
Gender: Male
Appearance: He has circular face with hight cheek bones and almond-sized brown chocolate eyes. He has black updo curly hair shaved by the sides. He is very thin and he wears white T-shirt whitch seems too big for him with picture of Rainbow Doe and old jeans with pair of white sneakers. His skin color should be tan but he spends alot of time outside on hot sun and so his skin is more darker and almost light brown .
Personality: ToBeRped.
Powers: Ink Manipulation. He has several problems with his powers- when he is calm his ink will flow around him gracefully if he summons some of it and he is able to shape the ink in different ways- in example he is able to create a rose from ink but he cant touch it or hold it since its still a liguid and it would be absorbed back to his body if he touched it and if somebody else touched it it would fell on ground. When he is angry/Scared or just stressed his ink will not be graceful and instead it will appear as a one giant messy blob of ink that keeps on moving and in this state he cant shapeshift it at all but he can use it as weapon since it would not dissapear if somebody touched it. Also Ink in this state reacts to his emotions and so he could even hurt somebody he didnt meant to or unleash too powerful attack for him to handle.. This ink comes from liquid inside his body and so he cant use it for long or he would collapse.
Opposite?: He doesnt know what happened to his Opposite but one thing is sure- Its gone.
