So, i had an idea running around in my mind. Im sorry if i dont explain correctly.

So, my idea is that below your trainer level, there could be text where says which pronouns you want others players to use to talk you.

Example:- Trainer level 12

They/them Pronouns

Pros: if a person wants to others use e.g he/him pronouns to talk to him, it could benefit the person calling the other person and who is being called.

Cons: i honestly dont know any cons of this suggestion.

Also, if this was already suggested, im sorry mods and you can delete this thread.

While I do understand why explaining what pronouns you'd prefer be used is needed, why can't this be done in the 'about me'? ^^

I'm not sure you understood what I meant ^^

What I meant was that we already have the 'about me' which is where most people put their personal information. Users that prefer certain pronouns usually put the pronouns there. Therefore, I don't particularly see why we need a separate option for this ^^

what if person A was talking to person B who prefered they/them pronouns, and
Person A was doing a trade and didnt check person B about me, person A could mistakenly use he/him pronouns for person B ?

Wouldn't the same apply for checking profiles? ^^ I don't know about everyone else but I don't check the profiles of everyone that I speak to - I just automatically use 'they/them' since it's neutral.

There's a post in a similar suggestion that kind of trails off this idea, though it's not really the main focus of the suggestion.
