This is a little PMD fanfic I'll be making.
What if you followed in the eyes of the partner, and not the human?

Chapter 1: Meeting Rose
Just a little longer. he thought.
The sides of the path were lined with flora, as far as his eyes could see. From the most basic Oran Berry bushes, to dazzling moss-covered trees, even the road to Cypress's favourite spot was beautiful.
Cypress became engrossed in the flora at the sides of the path, and he was at his favourite spot in what seemed like seconds. As soon as Cypress wandered in, he felt tranquil, and at peace. Yes.
Not even a curse can worry me. Not when I'm here.
Then Cypress saw something he'd never seen before.
Amidst the circle of trees that lined Cypress's favourite place, was a circle marked with stones.
There was something inside that circle, too. But Cypress was too far away to see what it was.
Well, what do you do when something's too far away to see? Cypress asked himself, as he began to creep closer to the circle. His feet rustled the lush grass beneath, and when he reached the circle, what he saw shocked him.
It was a helpless Fennekin, laid on the ground.
As soon as Cypress saw the Pokemon, he feared the worst. But he decided that trying to rouse it awake was worth a try.
Cypress laid a flipper on the Fennekin's soft, yellow fur, and shook its body. "Hey. Hey! Wake up!"
he yelled. The Fennekin awoke with a start, and screeched. "It's okay!" Cypress told it, taking his flipper off its body. "But are you all right? You were just passed out on the ground there!"
Cypress watched as the Fennekin rose to its feet. Its body was shaking at first, but it managed to steady itself. "I-I'm all right.." the Fennekin said, and Cypress could tell it was female by the tone of its voice. The Fennekin began to view her surroundings. She looked very confused as she turned to Cypress. "U-um..who are you?" she asked Cypress. Cypress looked at her with a smile. "My
name's Cypress! Great to meet you."
The Fennekin smiled. "Nice to meet you t-" She suddenly cut off her speech. "Wait, what? Why is a
Pokemon talking to me? And how can I understand it?" Cypress looked at her, confused.
"What do you mean? Aren't you used to it? I'm a Pokemon, you're a Pokemon, everyone in this world's a Pokemon!"
"But I'm not a Pokemon!" the Fennekin objected.
"Then what are you?" Cypress asked.
"I'm a human!"
Cypress stood there for a second. "But you look like a perfectly normal Fennekin to me."
The Fennekin began to look at herself, lifting one paw and waving her bushy fox tail. Then she collapsed to the ground, in shock. "N-no! You're right! I am a Fennekin! How is this even possible?"
Cypress felt bad for the Fennekin. He'd experienced unbelievable moments like these, too. "There
there." he said, taking her paws and standing her up. "It's all good. What's your name, anyway?"
The Fennekin looked at Cypress for a second, before answering. "R-Rose..My name is Rose.."
Cypress smiled. "Nice name." he said, cheerfully. They looked at each other for a moment. "I guess
you have nowhere to stay." He looked over at the path. "So, want to come over to my place?" he suggested. "I've got plenty of food to satisfy your hunger..that is, if you're hungry." Rose mulled it over for a second, then responded. "Sure. I don't want to live out in the forest, after all."
"Great!" Cypress said happily. "Follow me, and we'll be there in no time." He waddled off into the sunset, with Rose trotting behind him.
And, little did he know, a grand adventure was about to begin.

Chapter 2: The Explorer's License
"So, anything in particular you'd like to eat?" Cypress asked Rose. They were now in Cypress's house,
which was built from an old tree stump. "I don't really care. I don't know what the food in this world tastes like." Rose replied.
She really is queer, Cypress thought to himself. Still, he proceeded to open the cupboard
where the food was kept. He got a basket from a nearby shelf, and put a lot of Oran Berries and Pecha Berries in it. "Well, you should start with these. They're pretty good."
Rose opened her mouth wide, and took out a Pecha Berry, which she swallowed whole. Cypress anxiously waited for the reaction.
"It's..really sweet..but also a bit dry."
"So..did you like it or not?"
"Yeah, it was good."
"Great!" Cypress said, extremely relieved.
The two friends enjoyed their meal so much that it only took about 5 minutes to eat it all. "Oh,
I have never tasted anything like this before." Rose declared, still chewing on the last Oran Berry.
Cypress smiled. "Well, you know, what's it like being a human?" he asked. "I'm just curious."
Rose pondered this for a second. "Uh..I don't remember..I've, um, forgotten everything." Cypress looked at her suspiciously.
I'm still not sure if I can trust her or not.
Before Cypress could answer back. the door flung open. "It's a disaster!" the voice yelled as loud as it could. Cypress looked over to the door, and saw the yellow bird Pokemon.
Fizz, of the Oricorio Dancers. It can only be him.
"I repeat, it's a disaster! You have to help me!"
Cypress looked sternly at Fizz. "Okay, okay. Calm down and tell me what happened." But Fizz refused to calm down, and in a clearly panicked tone, blurted out "Fazz has gone missing! He went to this dungeon called Silky Cave, and he still hasn't come back!"
