During the Great Gem War, Earth was the planet of war. Troops of the Crystal Gems and Gems from Homeworld were always duelling. Most of the Crystal Gems were able to escape Earth, however. They were able to hide in a planet now called Kepler-186. But they failed. Homeworld found that planet. As the War extended to it, it also extended to its end. As something happened, a few of the Crystal Gems on both Kepler and Earth survived.
