So, I spend a lot of time on web pages and the rules and found a big problem. We should definitly change the term

" Every person is allowed to have one player account."
Because- and that is why I spend so much time on web pages - there are two definitions for the term "person". we have "An individual's body." but we also have an "individual being/personality"
the problem with that is the fact that pokeheroes referres to the first definition which most likley many people would and I guess only 5% know the difference.
I have a really good friend and she suffers under a very bad disorder, more common under the term multiple personality disorder. Because of that she reffered to the second definition and made an account for her, but the first time she blacked out and her other personality took over control it made an account for herself because like we all, she really liked this game and referred to the second definition as well. Now both were banned, luckily one account is still opened, but the other person of the two is now really heart broken because of this unspecific term..


Now please guys, I know most of you wouldn´t be affected by this. But how would you feel if someone wouldn´t accept you as a person out of rasistic reasons like 500 years ago? How would you feel if you would loose your account because of that and all your shinies would be gone forever?
I understand that most people won´t consider it as important but for 5% of the world this is a problem, and all I am pleading for is a more specific term like "one account per body" because than those people would know and could find a way to come along with this rule and wouldn´t come to the point where they loose everything..

Not to sound harsh or anything, and while I can relate where you're coming from, I personally don't think there is a need to change the rules for this. You can have two or more personalities sharing a body and all, but seeing that this is an online game, there is no way to verify that this is actually the case, and the mods won't go as far as asking you for proof so that it's actually the case of personality disorder because it's disrespectful to do so.

If your friend knows about her BPD, then she could have asked a mod beforehand if it's fine for her to have one account for each personality. So, in that case, it's her own fault, because I doubt that this is the only place where your friend will be treated as "one person". I mean, it's not as if your friend also has one ID for each personality, either, right?

of course not, but well, many don´t know about it and about what they do and of course there is no good way to verify it but that is to my mind exactly the reason why we should make the afford of changing ONE word to extinguish such problems.

Yeah, but one account per body doesn't exactly make it clear, either.
If you put it like that, people could start making accounts for their pets, because that's another body as well.

well, I don´t think that people have pets being able to play pokeheroes by their own while with mpd, you actually have another person that can play by their own without the original person knowing it.

Also, psychologists and therapists often want you to accept those personalities as own person to make the social contact easier for them so they don´t have to face the struggle of people not understanding the different behaviors and names so it is quite understandable to act like she did.

But I haven´t made this thread to discuss this case, but to prevent other children to be banned because of such things they can´t understand. And like I said before, I can understand if you claim it as unnessesary, but actually for a little amount of people it is and the investment is very low work to do. So I think we should take care vor specific definitions used in the rules so everyone can understand.

And if youu are afraid of me letting my pup play, we can say only one account per human body if that makes things better ^^
