MARVEL 1X1



Bucky just got off cryo-freeze, Piper and Steve are both delighted to bits. The others, a bit unsure, beg to differ. Piper can finally inform Bucky about all the things he missed while he was gone. Some things may not go as Piper planned, but that's why her and the gang are all superheroes. Steve tries to convince Piper not to go to Wakanda to pick up Bucky from the depths of the country, but Piper refuses, and goes along on her way.

Piper is surprised when she sees Bucky out of his cryo-freeze chamber, and confused. She asks T'Challa where Bucky went, but he does not know. Piper searches through Wakanda to find her Bucky, before anyone else can. She knows if someone finds him before she does, Bucky is in deep trouble. (this happens after we get all settled into the rp <3 )

Before all this happens though, all is happy within Stark Tower, where all the Avengers and their other superhero pals are all assembled. Haha, pun intended.

Piper is sitting on the couch in her nephew's side of the tower, watching TV. She hears a knock on the door while she's watching one of her favorite shows. Irritated, she gets up to answer the door. As she swings the door open, she is greeted by an unhappy Steve Rogers. He purses his lips together aggravatingly, before responding,
"Piper. You can't go see Bucky. You have to stay here. It's for the best." and Piper rolled her eyes.
"Oh please. It's not like anything bad is gonna happen to me. Bucky trusts me just as much as he trusts you." she replied.
"You can get hurt, Piper." he murmured.
"I don't really care at this point Steve, we've developed a cure to get the trigger words and all that Winter Soldier training out of his brain... I can't wait any longer to see my Bucky. Him and I were talking about getting married way before this whole war thing started..." she grumbled. Steve grabbed her forearm, his hand tightly gripping onto her.
"You're not going to Wakanda. Not without me."

It wasn't very long before Tony strolled into the scene.
"Well well well. Look what we have here. Capsicle and Pipesicle. So cute." Tony cooed, and Piper rolled her eyes, once again.
"Shut it Stark. You know I'm your aunt and I can do anything I want to you if I pleased. All I have to do is lift a finger, and it is done." and Tony scoffed.
"I doubt it, you're so old, I bet you can't even tussle with your old army mates anymore." Piper growled. Why was Tony being so arrogant today...?

"Mortals, mortals. Enough of this petty bickering. How about we have a lovely social gathering and catch up on some current events? That would please me extremely." Thor smiled. Piper nodded, giving into Thor's peaceful suggestion.
"That sounds like a lovely idea, Thor." Piper beamed brightly, as she strode over to the kitchen, grabbing the coffee pot from the counter and pouring herself a cup.
"Steve, can I interest you in a cup of coffee?" she questioned, and Steve shrugged.
"Sure. Yes please."

This wasn't going to be just a small gathering, everyone was going to be assembled together, to have a nice lovely chat.

"Do you suggest I bring Wanda?" Vision floated into the room suddenly and mysteriously, making Piper nearly jump out of her skin.
"Vision! Be more courteous next time!" she gasped.
"Sorry." he chuckled.

Peter landed outside the building on the glass window looking at everyone trying to tug it open. Unfortunately for him it was locked. Just his luck. Flash beat him up today and now the window.
He knew he could take on Flash on his own but decided to keep getting beat. Great power, responsibility. The usual.
"Mr.Stark, can you let me in?"

Wanda walked in the room looking at everyone and sitting in a chair trying to ignore Vision, but she glanced at him out of the corner of her eye. Quickly looking back she hoped no one noticed.

Sam flew outside and hovered near Peter, "Window stuck man? Well let's see. Vision, Cap, Piper, Wanda, Tony, Thor. It seems a few are missing."

Tony glanced over his shoulder to see Peter knocking on the window. He rolled his eyes, sashaying over to the glass frame and opening it so Peter could enter. He saw Sam hovering behind Peter, and he huffed. Oh great. More people in his tower.
"Since when did my place become a place where we could all assemble? Why not just do it at Piper's apartment or something?" Tony quirked a brow, and Piper exhaled heavily, pausing from her coffee brewing,

"That's exactly why we can't meet up at my place. It's too small. Your place is perfect for these kinds of things."

"Well, still. It always has to be my place." and Tony was right. When the Avengers had their annual Christmas party, it was at Stark Tower. All holidays except on the Fourth of July, it was at Tony's tower. The Fourth of July was always at Steve's, he got a new place after that whole Alexander Pierce incident, and it was a lovely house. It had a huge backyard, perfect for a big get-together. There was a pool, a big grill for barbecuing, and it just seemed to be the right place for a Fourth of July party.

"Steve, did you hear from T'Challa yet? When can I leave for Wakanda?" Piper interrogated curiously, and Steve sighed irritably,

"I said you're not going. Not without me, Piper. He still could be unstable when he wakes up. The Wakandans developed a cure for all that junk in Bucky's mind, but we also need Wanda's help in order to wipe all those memories from his brain. You can't just go by yourself." and Piper crossed her arms over her chest,

"I heard I was leaving before anyone else. He's my fiance, after all. Who was the first person Buck came to? Me. I didn't tell anyone about him being around because Bucky didn't want me to. We kept it on the DL. He proposed to me a couple months after he came to me, and I gladly accepted his proposal. The ring on my ring finger is all the proof you'll need." Piper nagged, and Steve had enough of it.

"Just because you're engaged to my best friend doesn't mean you can go all hunky-dory on your own before Wanda and I can." and Piper growled, taking offense to this.

"Well... Ugh, I don't care. I just want to know when we have to leave."

"We should be leaving in a couple of days. Do you have your stuff all packed?" Steve inquired, and Piper shook her head,

"No, not yet. But the question is- how much do I have to bring with me?"

"Just bring whatever you feel is necessary." Steve replied with a shrug.
