The event said we had through the 17th to spend enough points to get the shiny Spring Mareep plushie. (Yes, technically it said "to", but that is often used incorrectly, and with the fact that it said "to" for the 8th-10th shiny cottonblu (which was available to claim still through the 10th) and for the 11th-13th plushie (which was also available to claim through the 13th), I (and likely many other users) made the assumption that I had more time to claim it than I did, and thus did not get the plushie. Honestly, I believe we should get one more day to receive the plushie because the information we were given was false.

Edit: I guess I should clarify something. I didn't claim dream points as often as I could have because I assumed I had more time, and thus spaced it out instead of getting them all right away.

Lots of support. It's only fair for us to get one more day because it was inconsistent and likely many of us (me included), if we had known that it would end at the beginning of today would have been able to get enough dreampoints. But because we thought it would end at restart today we were more relaxed about getting the plushie buy the beginning of today.

To support Atalina's post - the edit in particular - I also would have finished had I known that the contest would be ending this reset. Running at Dream World Level 5, it wouldn't have been too difficult to manage my time a little differently - play a little less Fire Emblem Heroes, for example, and get the contest through with.

Instead, I chose to save my gems (which I could have also spent) and spend time on other aspects of life and gaming.

I realize also that it was likely intended to be another 3-day timeframe, but viewing the schedule I noticed this and assumed the extension was simply because the third plushie took a good chunk more Dream Points. Considering they all had the same wording, there was nothing to suggest anything otherwise.
Just a gamer. And an artist, sometimes.
