Elvira nodded as she followed along trying to remember where things were so she wouldn't have to ask, though the place wasn't huge, so she likely wouldn't have too much of a problem. "We didn't have a table, so I'd love the experience of eating there at some point." She smiled, wondering what the first meal they'd share at the table would be. "Shall we go get Chinese?" As if in answer, her stomach grumbled which made her laugh. A loud, full laugh, nothing fake about it.

Roxanne's laughter joined hers as she nodded. "That sounds fabulous!" She said, snagging her keys off the hook and putting them in her bag before snagging a pair of what looked like legitimate ballet slippers from the coat closet. She sat down in one of the chairs and tied them on before standing. "Alright. I'm set."

"Are those ballet shoes? Not trying to be critical, but I'm genuinely curious..." Elvira asked, her head tilted just slightly. "That's another thing about me, I usually have little to no shame, so if I have a question I likely will ask it, however, I'm not trying to be rude."

Roxanne smiles, nodding. "They are. And don't be sorry. I don't mind. It's refreshing. And probably a lot better then me. I can beat around the bush... But in answer to your question, yes they are. I did ballet, had a class here. I have a lot of interesting fashion items. I find them online or at fairs. People area normally selling old stuff that I like to repurposed. It's cheaper and recycles this stuff so it isn't lost or in a landfill."

"That's brilliant," Elvira grinned, happy that her question was understood. "I hate throwing things away," She looked down to her beaten up shoes. "I've had these for years and I got them from a dumpster in the back of a shoe company. These were rejects," She pulled up the pant leg which revealed a burn mark on the side covered in black tape. "A little glue and duct-tape and it's all good."

Roxanne inspected them, grinning. "Be still my heart!" She exclaimed, her hands held over her chest. "Girl! We have to go shopping together! Or recycling at least. There is this great salvation army store not too far from here. We've got to check it out together sometime. There are local craft stores around here too. I wait for clearance or just sales and stock up. I love making a lot of my jewelry too." She normally had something to fiddle with while out scooping the city or sitting at her desk at work to keep herself busy. But Elvira didn't need to know about her vigilante activities.

Elvira burst into laughter yet again. "I'm taking you dumpster diving! Some of the best things I own are things someone else threw away. My laptop for instance, it's an old model and it was busted. I'm taking a night course in vocational studies, whatever it's called, for repairing tech. Oh, so if anything electrical breaks just let me know, I have a way with machines," She grinned happily. She had planned her life pretty much around her abilities.

"I would love to! That's pretty cool. I'm kinda hopeless when it comes to tech and gadgets...I can get my laptop, phone and tablet to work but that's about it. And despite my love of fashion and girly girl looks, I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I want to open a little fashion boutique. But affordable. Not the kind that has people paying an arm and a leg for it. I'd love to teach people to make their own stuff. So I take a lot of art and fashion design classes," Roxy said, leading the way out and locking the door behind them. She was very happy they had a connection. It seemed like it was going to be a great friendship.

"Well, if you do open one, I'll be your first customer. I like my own style, but I'd be open to suggestions and other things. Though that's usually my entire life style... Try everything once, except drugs, won't do those. Some people think that because I dress like a punk that I act like one, but it's not the case." Elvira walked beside Roxanne, her thumbs tucked in her pants pockets, but her fingers gesticulated a bit as she talked. "I really dislike people who judge by appearances, annoys the heck out of me."

Roxy grinned. "I would love that! And I am completely with you on the drug thing. Supplements? Herbal remedies? Those are one thing. But altering your brain for something like. That isn't my speed. I'll get a little buzzed or tipsy but I don't like being drunk or not remembering things. Same for judging. Why do we always need to label and generalize? Can't we just be us?" She kept looking over to Elvira, meeting her eye in a polite and respectful way. She talked with her hands but kept her voice low so she didn't disrupt anyone they passed.

"I've been drunk just to try it, but it was in a safe environment, and I hated it so I made the decision to not do it again." Elvira nodded, a happy, satisfied smile resting on her lips. "I've met enough judgmental people in my life to know that I'll never become one." She shook her head slightly to get out of that depressing train of thought. "Anyways, what kinds of things do you like to drink? I'm not opposed to trying anything, but I have tried beer and can't stand the stuff, however, a nice ale or mead is nice." She didn't make much eye contact, and instead kept her eyes on the path in front of them and their surroundings.

"If you're going to do it, a safe environment is wise. I like sweet things. So mixes with fruit, tea or lemonade are my style. I tend to drink lemonade while I am drinking. Means I don't spend as much and can enjoy more of the night. And keeps strangers from trying to get too close. How about hobbies? Do you like to read? Are you into music? Movies?" Roxanne asked, sensing a sensitive subject. Without any real thought, she let out a calming pheromones. Not enough to control anyone but a subtle amount to try to keep sadness at bay.

"That sounds nice actually, though not to brag, I've gotten pretty good at holding my drinks." Elvira chuckled and winked. "As for hobbies," She took a deep breath to think. "Well, I love to tinker with electronics for one, I'm not too into music or reading but I can enjoy and appreciate both. Movies I don't tend to watch too often mostly because I can't find good ones to watch at theaters, or someone to watch them with." She smirked slightly. "Don't tell anyone, but I do know a few good websites that have great collections and let you watch for free. Disney movies tend to be my favorites, the classic ones, not the newer ones though..."

"Classic Disney movies are amazing! The villains and heros seem so...well thought out. Some of the newer ones have cool designs but the back story is lacking. I want more. And will make up my own if I'm feeling it. I'd be happy to watch movies with you if you'd like. I can see you as a tinkerer. Someone who wants to make something that'll help others or just figure out how things work. I wish I had that patience with things. I get frustrated when my sewing machine gets tangled and end up doing it myself by hand. And knitting? Ugh! Trying to undo a knot in the yarn isn't fun." Roxy opened the door and held it for Elvira as they walked out onto the street and towards the restaurant. She kept her eye out for anything strange, any problems.

"Oh very much so," Elvira nodded listening attentively. "The newer ones often look amazing, but lack in story and such. I'd be more than happy to help with the sewing machine, on one condition." A huge smirk played itself out on her lips. "If you'll patch up my jeans for me." She motioned down to the huge holes in the knees. "We can use one of my tees for the extra fabric for the patches." She bowed her head in thanks as they went out the door. She soon caught the scent of the restaurant on the air and boy did it smell good.

"I would love to! We don't have to just use tee's though. I'd hate for you to have to tear them up for this if you still want to wear them. I've got plenty of scrap fabric we can piece together to work. And it'll give you an array of colors and designs to pick from if you'd like," Roxy grinned, debating if it'd be okay to weave her arm through Elvira's or if the poor woman would think she was trying to hit on her or being creepy. It was platonic, of course. Though, the girl was good looking and as far as Roxy could tell, of good heart and mind. Best friends walked like that and while she didn't think they were best friends, she felt like she'd known Elvira forever. The scent of Chinese food distracted her thoughts. After all, the stuff was heavenly!

"That'd be cool, though I do prefer darker colors than you might wear, so my tees were just an option, as long as you're alright with using the fabrics... Being a crafty person I figured you'd have a plan for those. Like a quilt or bag," Elvira shrugged before turning her nose up to the air. "Oh we're almost there," She chuckled as she picked up a little speed in her step. The thoughts of a relationship were definitely not in El's mind at the moment, food was, but she did find the bubbly personality and pink attire very cute.

Roxy laughed at that statement, shaking her head. "I've kinda got all spectrums covered. Girly girl, gothic, and steampunk would probably be best to describe my clothes. But I love a good darker colored outfit. And my scrap fabric? It's all over the place. Overflowing, to be honest. You can check it out and if you don't find anything you like in there, we'll attack your tee's," Roxy reassured her. Then her stomach let out a loud rumble and she blushed. "We're going, we're going, stomach. Just hold your horses," she grumbled before threading her arm through Elvira's and tugging her along gently, but excitedly. "Come on! I can't wait to see your reaction to the décor of this place! It's so cool looking in here!"

"I can't really find a good way to describe my own style, but gothic and steampunk sound like a good place to start." Elvira giggled as she scooted along with Roxanne. "I'm just excited for the food!" She laughed, making sure she wouldn't trip and drag Roxanne down with her, seeing as she had linked them together. She didn't mind it, they were friends, they'd be sharing basically a house together, so it wouldn't matter what anyone else thought. She was really getting attached, she did not want to have to move again.

Roxy was over the moon. She had a roommate who seemed to not only be into something she was but seemed to like her! They might actually be really good friends! She could easily see them staying up after finals, talking crushes and binge watching some tv series. This was going to be awesome! The blonde hadn't really had a friend. The thought of having one amazed her. Reaching the door, she swing it open, letting Elvira go in first. "As you should be! After this place, all Chinese food won't taste good enough."
