I feel like when i'm battling some one they go to trade or action house and it makes you wait for awhile so you do the same thing and when they come back your ether off or doing something else and you forget about it so I was thinking for like when your in battle you cant leave it unless you are beat or you won. A lot of times it gets annoying because like your or their pokemon are getting beaten and out of no where they just leave and don't come back to battle but then a Computer one comes on and then it's just not fun any more because you know it's not them choosing the attacks.

You can already disable AI before the battle, just tick the 'Disable AI Mode' button before sending the battle request (or ask the other user to do it if they are the one sending a request). No need for a whole new feature that will in the end cause troubles since some people, like me, actually like AI to do my biddings since I can't be online every hour.

To add onto what the others said

-Sometimes your battle partners won't be able to control disappearing.
What if their internet goes out, or their parent makes them go do something now
Or even they have slower internet, so the lag on their end is really bad, making them respond more slowly
