Hello! My suggestion suggests that we should be able to chose wether or not we have to vote to get to see the results on our own polls. I'm trying to do a poll about my shop and have a selection for only me to click but someone else clicked it and it is really annoying. Hope this gets support.

The thing is, most people don't wan't to vote on their poll. Its the whole point of a poll, to other people to vote, not you.

usually I'd have to put another option for myself to choose just to see the results, and as a joke, everyone picks that option, and then the results are unfair. It'd be nice to not have that happen.

maybe it's a thing that you could see in the poll manager??

like have an option to drop down a spoiler or something for the results of each??

either way it's extremely helpful, especially if it's really easy to lose track of which vote is yours, especially if it's been up for MONTHS

I agree and you should also be able to edit the polls with out affecting the votes. It's really easy to make one mistake and want to fix it, but it's hard to fix the mistake itself.

No Support, sorry.
Instead of doing this, we can just vote on our own poll on the option that we want, and we'll see the results automatically :)

I think this should be implemented.
It feels stupid if you make a "what do you think about me?" poll and you have to vote yourself to see the answers :/

Although I don't mind other people chosing the option to see votes, I can see some mind.

Thanks for all the support!
@immatureguy
Some people have to put and extra poll option only for them and people who aren't them click it and some people find that annoying. They also might just want to see the results of other people's votes.

I, personally, support this.
I think it would be super useful, especially if there was the option of turning this on and off. I know that whenever I (and others) make a poll asking something important (e.g. User name changing polls) that we primarily want others to answer, it can be annoying having to pick something just to see the votes. And ImmatureGuy, I see what you are getting at, but if this feature has the ability to turn on or off, I see no reason you couldn't just leave it off.

No support. You could easily just vote the first option or something then subtract one from the option you voted on.

I was actually thinking about this today. This is a Poll that I put up recently:
Question: What starter should I breed? (I'll probably auction many off)
Bulbasaur 0
Squirtle 1
Charmander 0
Cyndaquil 1
Mudkip 0
Fennekin 0
Froakie 1
Total Votes: 3
One of those is my vote. This is a vote to see what OTHER people want me to auction off, basically, and I have to put a random answer. It throws off the computations. I have to take one off of the Cyndaquil vote because of it, and it can mess up my stuff. It has to do with my Pokedollars being spent, and if there's a close one and I don't remember that I voted on one of them, then I can let other people down, and I waste money because not as many people will want it. It's a business trade, and the Poll is the best way for me to advertise it. I could post in my feed, but who wants someone posting every hour "What starter Pokemon should I breed? (I'll probably auction many off)"? It gets in my way, so full support!

Support.
I have 4 polls.
I had to vote on every single one just to see results.
Also, you could forget you voted on it and that one vote could change the vote.

@blizzardkitty
Please reread the suggestion. He is suggesting that you should be able to view your own poll results without voting on it.

Full support. I'm not sure how this hasn't been implemented yet. With polls you want opinions for when you don't have one, it's extremely unhelpful.
