I think Surfer Machop and his evolution chain should be Fight/Water, not just Fight, because they are surfers, and surfers are related to water, not related to fights.

And Princess Smoochum and Queen Jynx should be Ice/Fairy, because Princess are related to Fairy Tales.

Event Pokemon are based off of actual Pokemon from the series, so for example Surfer Machop may be a surfer and likes Fighting, that doesn't mean he should be Fighting/Water, that's because he is based off Machop, whom is a Fighting type only.

This also includes to Princess Smoochum, just because she's a 'Princess' that doesn't mean she must be a Fairy type as well, right? Event Pokemon are similar to collectibles, they are famous for their designs not for their typing.

And the typing would just ruin the battle system because there are a lot of Event Pokemon that will change its own typing if this happens, right? Right? K.

Oh and if we do that it will make the website a fakemon-similar website, because it is changing the type of the original Pokemon in an Event Pokemon, which is supposed to be only for different designs and not different typing.

I'm still neutral, but I'm more into the 'no support' side after reading my own comment, :b.

@book i think knight axew (i think thats the name) is a different type then axew though, anyways i dont really like the types suggested and these 2 should stay the same i think

Just a list of some of the event Pokemon(I don't have all of them so I just listed the ones I have) with typings different from the original...so yeah, your argument really doesn't make any sense. We've always had event Pokemon with different types than the originals, and the battle system hasn't been ruined yet.

About the suggestion itself. I don't see why not. The types do suit the Pokemon in question. So I fully support.
