I don't know if this was suggested but I want to request riako to try and support safari zone for touch devices. As like me, some users like PH and can only access it from mobile/ iPad .


The issue is programming. I've a solution for this too. I thing programming from berrygarden could come in useful for this feature. For eg. The icons on the garden can be selected and applied eg. Squirtbottle. So a button could be an icon showing safari ball and another showing poffin and when either is clicked they are selected. To throw them we could use touch. And movement can be facilitated by arrows.

Here is how I'd like it to work...(It doesn't require an on-screen keyboard...)

I'll be explaining this by the use of an image of Berrygarden

So, where the "Squirtbottle" and "Seeds" tabs are, in the Safari zone, these icons will be replaced by "Poffin" and "Pokeball" Icons. When we click the pokeball icon, it remains selected and we can throw a pokeball by the means of a tap. And when the Poffin icon is selected, again we can throw it by the means of a tap. For navigation, there can be 4 arrows (similar to many games) for normal motion, and a "Speed" button, which makes the movement faster.
Please support this suggestion and hope I helped Riako.

An advantage of the new model
It has an added advantage. I've seen many users complaining that the Hotkeys (or whatever A, W, S and D keys are called and their purposes) table blocks the way of capturing Pokemon. This system will solve the problem.
I KNOW PH is a PC site, but mobile users ALSO play...
1. Why was gem cauldron made optimised for Mobile devices?
2. Why was Beauty Contest optimised for touch devices?

Well... I remember that Riako said PH is really for PC so if the other features do not work in your phone, maybe it's not his fault since he said that PH is not really for phones. why don't you buy a cheap net books? But it could be also very helpful to the mobile users.

You're right but the fact can't be negelected that many and I mean MANY Use PH on touch devices . They come online because they like the game like me

You can now use browsers such as Puffin for iOS which comes with a built-in gamepad.
I'm sure there's an add-on for Android, too.

Sure, it can be optimized to no end- but not only do taps on mobile devices have a slight lag which would make timing almost impossible, a virtual keyboard would be horribly clunky to use.

Still doesn't address any of my arguments.
Making a button like that wouldn't help at all- due to double-tap detection, most browsers have a built-in 0.3s delay - and any arrow system would be impractical, not only to mention that some devices don't allow to hold down buttons in a browser.
