My boyfriend spent the entire day at Cedar Point with a real life friend of his. She's really nice; I asked her if she would be open to meeting up with me when Ryan and I head back to his home state during our upcoming trip. Unfortunately, she told us that she had plans already which is kind of a bummer but she did give me her contact information!

I didn't really get to talk much to Ryan because I was working and because he was driving home since I believe around 10PM. By the time he got home, it was past midnight so we just agreed to talk more in the morning.

Ryan and I were finalizing plans about how we're going to get my laptop when we see each other next. And we found out that there's going to be an Ikea opening really close to where I live! The article said it was going to open this summer, but we're not sure if it'll be open fully by the time the trip rolls around. If it is indeed open, we're obviously going to check it out! If it's not, we'll probably move it to the next trip

My work schedule is gonna change tomorrow since summer break officially starts then: I’ll be working in the late morning to around the midafternoon. The schedule will stay until around the beginning of August as that is when school starts back up for my area.

Well, it’s official: My laptop is officially dead. I know I said I wasn’t going to turn on the thing but today I had no choice because I needed to use the cooling pad to cool off. The cooling pad basically doubles as a fan and that keeps my room cool during the summer. When I turned on my laptop, literally nothing with load and it took about 10 minutes for it to shut down. Waiting for September is taking a really long time and it is starting to aggravate me because using my iPad as my main device is a real struggle.

I forgot to mention this earlier but last week I was at a watch party for a show that I watch on Discord and believe it or not, I ended up making a new friend! She is absolutely awesome and we are going to meet up at Cedar Point when Ryan and I meet up for his birthday! She also introduced me to her husband as well and he is really cool!

Seriously, what was the point of Pokémon Showcases in the XY anime? I know they were anime exclusive, but was there a reason for them to be introduced? They weren’t in the games, and if you ask me, they should have bought contests back for Kalos.

I don't think I can hold this in any longer... Being in a long-distance relationship totally sucks! You can only see your significant other in person only a couple times throughout the year, and when you have to say goodbye to them, it's the most gut-wrenching thing you could ever experience. It's really hard to get used to being apart once again, but if you know anything about my situation, then it's worse. To put it simply, my parents don't even treat me like an adult: I'm 25, but they keep treating me like I'm a teenager. If you saw my previous vent about me expressing my excitement about the recent trip I was on, then yeah, it's pretty much like that.
